1. Supervise and monitor the quality activities performed by inspectors at all stages of the project cycle from design review up to approval of Final MCC, which include the participation in (project proposal development, contractor pre-qualification, bid explanation meeting, technical bid evaluation, design & procurement kick-off meeting and construction kick-off meeting) to ensure compliance with applicable MSAERs and projects specifications.
2. Participate upon request on feasibility study, concept development design, pre-FEED, FEED (front end engineering design), detailed engineering design, and review the design packages frequently as per Schedule Q.
3. Deal and communicate with SAUDI ARAMCO inspection representatives SAIRs about all quality and inspections concerns during design and procurement phase.
4. Ensured that the contractors have complied for submission of all schedule Q deliverables, including but not limited to: PQP, QCP, ITP, special process procedures, audit reports, management review meeting results, two week look ahead schedules and etc.
5. Coordinated with service provider to hire qualified and skilled project inspection personnel.
6. Interview and approve the contractors QA managers and QC managers as per Schedule Q, and verify the level of coverage from the contractors side.
7. Review the deviations and non-conformities (LBEs) that identified by inspection team prior to log them in QMIS system.
8. Initiate NCRs for issuance by PM and worksheets for issuance by IU supervisor to PM.
9. Arrange for pre-qualification inspection visits to contractors or vendors as needed.
10. Make frequent visits to construction sites to resolve inspection related problems, or appraise adequacy of inspection services provided.
11. Ensure the implementation of site audits (focused assessments, etc.) by the inspectors, and ensure that the projects audits (15% & 60% for design, procurement and construction phase) have been scheduled, planned and conducted by the contractors as per quality plan, Schedule Q and ISO 9001:2015.
12. Attend contractor’s internal quality audit opening and closing meetings.
13. Coordinate with inspection department quality assessment group (ID-QAG) in developing a schedule of assessments to be performed on the contractor’s quality system during the project.
14. Participate in assessments for the construction and pre-commissioning phases and attend the opening and closing meetings as an observer and provide assistance as required.
15. Review and analyze results and findings of both the internal and external assessments.
16. Follow-up on corrective action requests (CARs) generated by SAUDI ARAMCO ID assessments.
17. Plan an inspection workforce mobilization and demobilization as required, for inspection service provider, and forecast the extra job hours and estimate inspection costs.
18. Compile and report the monthly project quality indices (PQI) for all C1 projects, which aim to measure the contractors compliance with relevant mandatory SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements (MSAERs) and project specifications.
19. Evaluate the performance of each contractor in regular basis as per Schedule Q.
20. Drive continuous improvement processes by utilizing pertinent quality improvement tools,
such as: lean and six sigma methodologies.
21. Arrange participations of service provider inspectors in mechanical completion and performance acceptance activities per the guidelines of GI-2.710.
22. Sign the MCC after verification that the projects have met the requirements of project documents, company standards and procedures, and applicable National and International codes.

1. Supervise all aspects of inspections disciplines and give WORK direction to all inspections personnel in the assigned groups or in the remotely located units.
2. Ensure that all WORK is completed according to all applicable codes and standards, and keep current of latest developments in inspection standards, codes, practices, procedures, methods and inspection equipment.
3. Oversaw on pipeline inspection activities such as (trenching, bending, cathodic protection, hot tap, tie-ins, cleaning (pigging and scraping), gauging, caliper run, hydrotesting, drying, chemical cleaning, nitrogen purging, valves installation, lowering, backfilling).
4. Attend the weekly project progress and QC meetings.
5. Monitor the calibration traceability of measuring devices, preservation of projects materials, and projects welding statistics like repair rate & NDE backlog as per relevant mandatory Saudi Aramco engineering requirements (MSAERs) and Schedule Q.
6. Perform root cause analysis, assessments, and recommended shot and/or long-term remedies.
7. As per Saudi Aramco procedure, implement a consistent methods for issuing, timely closure, extension or escalating quality issues such as: INCRs, LBEs, NCRs, WS, DWSs or EDRs.
8. Make frequent visits to construction sites to resolve inspection related problems, or appraise adequacy of inspection services provided.
9. Provide technical support to purchasing and project management in resolving problems concerning inspection methods and procedures for completing work within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards.
10. Consolidate the weekly quality highlight items related to quality and inspection activities and sent it to Saudi Aramco inspection unit.
11. Arrange participations of service provider inspectors in mechanical completion and performance acceptance activities per the guidelines of GI-2.710.
12. Participate in developing Aramco standards and procedures for standard committee.
13. Conduct a monthly safety meeting to the team of (ID/PID) inspectors, in order to helps prevent workplace and offices injuries, and report any safety observations or near misses with a proper mitigations / corrective actions in SAP-EHSM / Safe Life solution.

1. Maintain the QA/QC functions as defined in SOW, PQP, QCP, ITP and project manager for different stages, such as (procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and handover activates).
2. Prepare, review and comment on procurement, construction and commissioning related QA/QC documents such as : project quality plans, quality control procedures, inspection test plans, welding procedure specifications, procedure qualification records including welder qualification test reports, deviations, and material and vendor approvals.
3. Monitor project construction and commissioning activities, monitor QC inspectors coverage of site inspection and surveillance activities, randomly participation in day to day inspection / testing activities, and perform independent surveillance inspections to ensure compliance to the project quality requirement.
4. Monitor the special processes and personnel qualifications (welding, NDT, painting, PWHT) testing, and oversee their performance in field.
5. Review the engineering drawings and documents, such as (IFC, ISO, P&ID, PFD, PP, MTO, BOM, SOW and etc.) and worked-on the mark-up drawings or red line drawings before they become as as-built drawings for different indexes.
6. Ensure all client non-conformities are closed on time.
7. Issue internal non-conformance reports INCRs, and follow up until closure.
8. Prepared monthly QA/QC reports, hydro test packages and project records book.
9. Captured the voice of the customer (VOC) and examined customer needs in relation to products and services offered. Analyzed the results to prioritize future development in anticipation of changing customer needs, in order to reduce customer complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.
10. A member in the team of quality department auditors to prepare, schedule, plan and conduct an internal and external quality audits and subsequent corrective actions for comprehensive company department based on QMS - requirements (ISO 9001 : 2008).
11. Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of concern, improvement opportunities, and progress against quality objectives.
12. Report incidents that present or have the potential to represent a loss to the organization. These include occupational injuries / illness, security, environmental incidents and product and severe non-conformances, to prevent reoccurrences.
