As ADPC has transferred from the construction phase to the operational phase after the completion of Khalifa port project,
I became a member of the support team which deliver the
service to the company employees who operate the port.
-In addition to the tasks which were assigned to me in the construction phase,
I’m taking care of the below :
-Preparing the ADPC OS image for specific models of hardware being used in the
company
-Participating in solving technical issues still pending since the construction phase
At ADPC(Abu Dhabi Ports Company ) I am a member of MDS(Middest Data System ) team who
are reporting from the site offices, my responsibilities are:
• Reporting the IT services status in the site to ADPC head office on daily basis.
• Solve desktops/Systems/peripherals service calls.
• Managing active directory(creating new account, resetting passwords, giving permissions, remove permissions, disable accounts…etc)
• Configure the clients PCs with exchange server through Microsoft outlook.
• Configure the users account according to the given permission or privileges.
• Configure/install required OS, hardware or software used by ADPC on the machines of the site I’m responsible of.
• Install/configure/support the new PCs assigned to the site I’m in.
• Install/configure/sharing network and local printers
• Service and troubleshoot printers, scanners, projectors, laptops and all other IT related products
• Installing/monitoring Symantec, McAfee security antivirus console.
• Configure/maintain /troubleshoot LANs and its hardware
• Installing ORACLE client and configurations of different applications.
• Providing training to the newly joined members to our team on all IT related topics we are responsible of in ADPC environment.
