Business Application Manager
My responsibilities and Achievements include:
• Responsible for day to day operation of all hospitality solutions within JA Resorts and Hotels Group (PMS, POS, Call Accounting Systems, Door Lock Systems, Restaurants reservation systems, IPTV, SPA Solutions, Business reporting solutions, Sales Activity tracking, BI Solutions, Systems interfaces, IT Asset Control etc.) including software and interfaces development.
• Provide (24x7) technical application support to the organization on all aspects of all Solutions.
• Provide application training, as required, on Solutions for the organization.
• Participate in testing of Solutions.
• Develop customize applications and interfaces to support business needs.
• Develop technical documents to support operation on various areas of Solutions.
• Develop BI Solutions to support Various Areas (Revenue, Sales, Top Management)
• Determine best techniques/procedures/theories and apply them to analysis, design and/or research of business solutions.
• Use complex problem-solving techniques requiring regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Be proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support all hospitality Solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications as necessary.
• Strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.
• Provide lifecycle management of applications
• Plan, execute and lead all Application projects within the Group.
• Align business area stakeholder needs with long-term business applications architecture and roadmap.

- Supervise all daily and weekly IT procedures in the hotel.
- Design; Implement Preventive Maintenance for all IT hardware & Software.
- Will be fully in charge of IT Dept and all of its related issues.
- Checking daily backups, all system interfaces, Server hardware and logs.
- Managing IT supervisors and clerks, assigning their daily jobs, and training them on all needed theoretical and practical procedures, troubleshooting and support within corporate standards.
- Work and manage suppliers for any Software/ Hardware conflicts.
- Follow up all claims that are being forwarded to IT Dept.
- Document, archive all correspondence and troubleshooting, follow up suppliers’ visits and maintenance.

- Assist existing/new properties when it is required.
- Test and verify hardware and support peripherals to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, analyzing and recording test data.
- Direct technicians, engineering designers or other technical support personnel as needed.
- Provide technical support to designers, marketing and sales departments, suppliers, engineers and other team members throughout the product development and implementation process.
- Update knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in computer technology.
