Supervise, control and co-ordinate all utilities plant operations activities to ensure timely and effective plant
production in accordance with established schedules, quality, cost and time objectives. Where I'm responsible for
controlling and supervising the following Utility Units:
Desalination Plants(MFS 120-80M3
/hr), SWRO Desalination Plant (250M3
/hr), Demineralization Units (Two Train
100M3
/hr each), Water System, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Cooling Sea Water System (90, 000 M3
/hr), Closed Soft
Cooling Water System, Fire Fighting Water System, Air Separation Units (Nitrogen and Oxygen generation System 3000
M3
/hr of N2), Air compressors ( Five Compressors with capacity 10, 000M3
/hr each), Air Dryer, Gas Fuel System, Boilers
and Steam Network (Two WHB 140T/hr each and Three WTB 70T/hr each) and Power Plant (Five Gas Turbines 25 MW
each and Two Emergency Generator 1 MW each).Achievements:
I was Responsible for follow up Installation, Commissioning and Starting up activities and prepare daily report to each
stage of Project to project team leader for the following utilities expansion projects:
MED-TC desalination plant with capacity 5800 M3
/day.
SWRO desalination plant with capacity 6000 M3
/day.
STP sewage treatment plant with capacity 1440 M3
/day.
New Emergence Air Compressors" ATLAC COPCO with capacity 3700 M3
/hr each.
New Gas Turbines “GT-1 and GT-6”, with Capacity 25MW/hr. each
MSFE desalination Plant revamping and PLC modification.
Assist in modification of chemical injection system for Regeneration of Cation Exchangers in DEMI Plant.
Assist in modification of Polishing Mixed Bed to be run as third and fourth Train DEMI plant.
Participate in preparing Boiler Water Reuse system for Boiler Blow down water to be feed to DEMI Plant.
Participate in review and preparing the P&ID drawing for modification for GSD-2014 for Different Plants Using VISIO-
2013 and AUTOCAD-2014.
Leading Team "Panel and Field Operators" for Decommissioning, Modification and Commissioning for "Utilities Fuel
Gas System, Air System, Closed Cooling Water System and BFW System" for Utilities GSD-2014
Where I was responsible for Operation and Supervising of the Following Utility Plants:
Water Treatment Plant (Pretreatment System 750 M3/hr, MMF, R.O Plant Four Trains with Capacity 450 M3/hr, DEMI Plant "Mixed bed" 450 M3/hr), Effluent Treatment Plants (Two Plants 100 and 200 M3/hr), Fire Fighting Water System, Cooling Water System (Three Cooling Towers1500, 1700 and 750 M3/hr each), Nitrogen Generation Plant, Air Compressors, Air Dryer, Chiller System ( Three Water chillers 295TR each, Three Brine Chillers 315TR each and Three Methanol Chillers 672TR each), AHU Systems, and Boiler and Steam Plant (Four Fire Tube Boilers 13 T/hr each) For L.P& M.P Steam Systems.
In coordination of job duty that’s including:-
• Supervise shift operational manner and plant operation from field and DCS Control room and act as Closed communicator with Field Operators and insure smooth running operation of utility units with optimum resources for low cost and higher quality.
• Supervising of all field activities and analyzing the operational data for improvement and modification requirements in the process and take Action to solve it.
• Completes shift Incharge log book and other work reports noting state of operating plants, corrective action taken and highlighting other items of plant that need further attention.
• Controls and coordinates shutdowns and start-up operations and assisted start-up team and plant operators for all the activities as per the established procedures.
• Improving equipment performance and prepare all maintenance reports and follow-up on all maintenance activities.
• Reviews laboratory test results to ensure that products meet specifications and arranges for adjustments to be carried out to maintain quality standards.
• Preparing the Daily and Monthly technical reports including Material, Chemical and power consumption and actions plan and the plant performance for Different Utility units.
• Maintained safety, health and environmental requirements.
Achievements:
1) Participate in instillation, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up for the following Units, where I was Responsible for Review P&ID and Preparing Operation Instruction for those Plants:
a.New R.O Plant (three Trains) with capacity 270 M3/hr, 25µ.sem Controlled using SCADA and PLC .
b.Effluent Treatment Plant with capacity 200 M3/hr of Industrial waste water.
c.Boiler Plant Three Fire Tube Boilers 13Ton/hr, 11Bar.g each and I was Added a lot of modification for the Plant to save Power and Fuel Consumption.
d.Poly Cooling Tower with Capacity 1500 M3/hr, ∆T 8○C of Process Water.
e. New Methanol Chillers Attend Installation and Alignment for New Compressors.
2) Preparing the Emergency Response Plan and Control Plan for the Utility Department and documents required for achieving the ISO 9001 certificates.
3) I was responsible for Follow Up all the new suggestions and modifications for utilities plants.
4) I was worked as chemical coordinator with NALCO for Supervising Chemical Treatment Programs for different water treatment Programs for WTP, Brine chillers, Methanol chillers, Cooling towers and Boilers
Where I was responsible for Operation and Supervision of:
1) Water Treatment Plant (W.T.P): with Filtration system "Multimedia Filters and Micro-Filtration (Cartridge Filtration)".
- R.O Plant: Controlled using P.L.C. system controlling, with capacity of 35 M3/hr.
- DEMI Plant: (Cationic and I.X design). With capacity of 35 M3/hr
2) Effluent Treatment Plant (E.T.P): of capacity 30 M3/hr of process waste water.
3) Chemical Laboratory: I was responsible for Carrying out the Complete Water analysis ( PH, TDS, Ortho Phosphate, Organic Phosphate, Turbidity, M-Alkalinity, P-Alkalinity, Iron, Ca- hardness, Mg- hardness, Nitrate, Free chlorine and Chlorides).
Where my job duty was including:-
• Checking all plant parameters and insure smooth running operation of water and waste water treatment Plants.
• Monitoring the dosage of chemicals and adjustment dosing
• Preparing the Daily and Monthly Plant Performance Reports.
• Evaluating/ reviewing start-up and shutdown activities.
• Improving equipment performance and prepare all maintenance reports and Follow-up all the activity.
• Optimize and saving the power consumption.
• Prepare the Daily and monthly technical reports including Chemical and power consumption.
Where I was responsible for Operation and Supervision of:
1) Water Treatment Plant (W.T.P), which clarification system "consist of two clarifiers 700 M3/hr and 450 M3/h capacities, storage system of 6000 M3, Slow Gravity Filters, Carbon Filter and Cartridge Filtration.
- R.O Plant: Controlled using P.L.C., with capacity of 100 M3/hr.
- DEMI Unit: (Cationic, Ionic I.X), With capacity of 100 M3/hr.
- Polish Unit:( Mixed Bed Ion Exchanger), With capacity of 100 M3/hr.
- Softeners: with capacity of 80 M3/hr of softened water.
2) Cooling Tower, 1000 M3/hr of Process water, with ∆T of 6 ºC (From 28 to 22).
Where my job duty was including:-
• Checking all plant parameters and insure smooth running operation of water treatment and cooling tower units.
• Adjust all Chemical Dose for Pretreatment, Filtration and R.O Plant
• Follow up and supervise the Chemical program for cooling water.
• Preparing the Daily and Monthly plant Performance Reports.
• prepare Maintenance reports and Follow-up all Maintenance activities during the shift .
• Carrying out the tests and calibration for the lab. meters as (pH, T.D.S., conductivity meters)
• Optimize and saving the power consumption.
• Write the technical reports including Chemical and power consumption.
