Helping the HR and Logistics Department to establish their internal Relocation Division (previously outsourced)
Plan and coordinate logistics for the KAUST Winter Enrichment Program (one of the major annual events)
Work closely with internal client departments managing entire mobilization of their employees & visitors as well as their dependents.
To ensure that information requested by the assignee is provided on a timely basis.
Counsel and coach relocates on university relocation benefits, entitlements and administration of relocation policy.
Complete all on-boarding processes including background investigation, medical and visa processing
Provide HR employment and on-boarding information and procedures to candidates.
Send new employee Confirmed Arrival Report to all hiring departments and stakeholders.
Enroll new employees in Pension/Savings and medical benefits.
Organize system and security access for all new relocates
Ensure all records are maintained for all relocations in line with the Kaust Policy
Liaise closely with graduate affairs, academic visit coordination team, security, housing / accommodation and personnel to ensure all people receive the highest level of service

Roles and responsibilities:
Helping the HR and Logistics Department to establish a Relocation Division
Logistics planning and relocation of employees, families and students for King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)
Creating actual and forecast reports for the HR department based on the information on their MIS (Management Information System) for their analysis.
Working closely with service providers to ensure smooth relocation.
Monitoring the performance of the travel and transport service providers to analyze how their processes can be further improved.
Helping the Kaust Events Management Team to plan the logistics for their various events, coordinating with the service providers to ensure these plans and deadlines are met.
Responsible for purchase order information to be forwarded to the external logistics supplier
Working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate purchase order information is provided.
Responsible for the timely delivery of raw material to the Karachi and Hattar production units and warehouses.
Producing and interpreting monthly key performance indicators for shipping costs and volumes
Evaluating the most cost effective method of shipping cargo whilst maintaining the integrity of delivery requirements of the businesses
Daily communications with management in regards to the shipment updates
Establishing communications in between the management and external suppliers for purchase orders and current stock levels.
Provide monthly forecasts to external logistics provider
Provide monthly KPI reports to the management team.
To communicate shipment solutions and issues to the management.
