I am working with Save the Children International - Pakistan program for almost 06 years as Inventory and warehouse providing services to different thematic areas such as Child Protection, Education, Health & Nutrition, Food, livelihood, WASH and Shelter programs. I have been able to successfully respond 3 large scale consecutive emergencies in Pakistan. I have Working experience with major donors like, USAID, DFID, OFDA, ECHO, AUSAID, SIDA, DANIDA, PEFSA, CIDA, WFP, FAO and UNICEF. My intention to help the needy people and work for noble cause led me to adopt humanitarian sector. I believe that needy people can be served better if relief agencies are efficient and staff deployed for support services has vision to address the many needs of people who have borne so much suffering and remain an inspiration to us all.
Major accomplishments:
• Rich experience in managing emergency responses, contingency planning’s and operations setups for relief and development projects implemented by Save the Children in conflict, disastrous, post conflict and refugees camp areas.
• Member of Save the Children national as well as global roster team for emergency responses.
• Identified office/warehouse/guest house premises for rent and ensured that all legalities are done at the time of occupation and vacation.
• Managed NFI’s, GIKs and consumables and ensured that all assets are in good working condition for efficient use.
• Established many rub halls and warehouses at field locations and ensured that those are equipped with basic requirements.
• Managed procurement i.e. supplier data base, preparing procurement plans, making contracts for goods and services
• Managed assets i.e. receiving, issuance, tracking, reconciliation, physical verification, insurance, repair and maintenance, disposition and reporting.
• Spent 30 to 40 percent time in field offices for providing technical assistance to field Inventory staff.
• Managed more than 80 vehicles/drivers which include scheduling, repair/maintenance, tracking, insurance, safety and fuel/oil of vehicles; while managed training and timings of drivers.
• Prepared weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for all logistics functions.

Job Role:
• Receive quarterly reports pertaining to assets and other inventories from the respective field offices ensuring that assets are verified and reconciled with GL.

• Maintain and update master asset register on regular basis in accordance with the receipts, transfer, repair, theft or any sort of disposal etc.

• Ensure that assets register is reconciled periodically with the finance data.

• Ensure effective coordination with field office inventory staff to provide technical support in maintaining documentary records.

• Effective coordination with grants department to verify budget codes for assets that are procured under respective grants.
