• Updating Expediting plan at PO issuance and later at OA receiving.
• Possibly expediting and managing deliveries (Import-Export) for UAE, OM, QA, KSA
• Requesting special quotations (for loads with weight 100 kg+) and nominating forwarder from GFA Forwarders list for deliveries.
• Checking the shipping documents (Inv, PL, COO, EUR1* if applicable) for compliance.
• Tracking the shipment and updating PM with ETA info.
• Handling customs clearance process (import-export declaration, COO issuance, TRA approval, SABER Certificate in KSA only)
• Monthly providing Operations department with report of receivable material value to support forecasting of revenue recognition.
• Strategizing Logistics by consolidating shipments for cost avoidance (where Eur 1 or duty exemption is applicable, suggesting amendment of HS Codes to applicable one where duty) and cost optimization.
• Depending on Incoterms requesting GRN.
• Supporting documents provision to financial team to decrease the mismatch of GR/IR;
• Supporting tendering team of logistics and customs quotation when required.
• Updating PM-s with PO status and delivery dates.

Main Responsibilities:
• Managing all Import & Export, Cross Border Shipments of projects & local firms.

• Freight forwarder management (Reviewing Contractual terms & conditions, Credit Terms Negotiation) & bringing new forwarders on board.
• Resolving all issue in import/export shipments and ensure smooth flow of all shipments.
• Review of supplier’s order confirmation in accordance with original order.
• Helping in Procurement Activities as and when required.
• Weekly Warehouse inventory reporting
Achievements
 Slashed Courier Logistics cost by 30% by negotiating pricing with forwarder’s while ensuring the quality of logistics service is maintained.
 Successfully handling end to end logistics needs of group and achieved on time deliveries for all orders.
