• Updating Expediting plan at PO issuance and later at OA receiving.
• Possibly expediting and managing deliveries (Import-Export) for UAE, OM, QA, KSA

• Supporting tendering team of logistics and customs quotation when required.

Main Responsibilities:
• Managing all Import & Export, Cross Border Shipments of projects & local firms.
• Oversee new system facilitation and current system enhancements.
• Floating enquiry of sea freight & air freight to all freight forwarders & obtaining approval from operations & make shipment movement.
• Make sure all necessary export shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Application of Certificate of origin through Dubai chamber) are sent to client before arrival of shipment at destination.
• Tracking orders sent and make sure it is delivered to client within promise date
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other related issues.
• Informing customers, MVL FS team on shipment status & keeping them upto date on all developments of their orders.
• Preparing export documentation & verifying Import documents ensuring smooth clearance of shipments.
• Freight forwarder management (Reviewing Contractual terms & conditions, Credit Terms Negotiation) & bringing new forwarders on board.
• Resolving all issue in import/export shipments and ensure smooth flow of all shipments.
• Review of supplier’s order confirmation in accordance with original order.
• Helping in Procurement Activities as and when required.

 Slashed Courier Logistics cost by 30% by negotiating pricing with forwarder’s while ensuring the quality of logistics service is maintained.

• Coordinate the interface between logistics functions such as procurement, transportation and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective support to the customer.
