The Salwa Beach Resort is to become one of the largest resorts in the Middle East. It
spreads along a 3.5km pristine beach front on the southwest coast of Qatar. it has 362
hotel rooms and residential units with private beaches, a world-class leisure and
waterpark, sports club, marina, dive center, health club, spa, restaurants, cinemas and
retail shops.

Responsibility:
- Reporting to Chief Engineer & Facility Director managing team of 50 people
- Manage all aspects of Operation & maintenance staff on a daily basis. Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of resort operations.
- Maximize electrical maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owner’s satisfaction.
- Hands on preparing, implementing and monitoring the policy, procedures, process, manuals and SOP for facility management.
- Attending the daily meeting with Chief Engineer & Facility Director.
- Prioritize, plan, schedule assign and supervise the engineering & FM department staff.
- Oversee the electrical maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Respond to guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.
- Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical., electrical system.
- Hands on creation of asset management registry and identifying the maintenance strategy for the different assets.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and maintaining various building systems like HVAC, CCTV, Electrical System, Elevators, Escalators, Plumping system, water treatment streams pertaining to electrical and electronic system.
- Ensure the stock inventory of materials, equipment and tools for effective and efficient operation and maintenance of the assets
- Attend all Facility Management/Property meetings as required, passing on necessary information to the maintenance team in regular junior staff meetings.
- Ensure the proper use and periodic maintenance of all equipment.
- Perform daily and weekly property document inspections.
- Ensure property, grounds, physical plant and work areas are maintained to standard and that all safety equipment and conditions are to code.
- Train engineering department & FM staff on correct maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as needed.
- Maintain, monitor and test hotel's emergency and security systems, features like Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, baggage scanners etc.
- Hands on developing emergency response and business continuity plans for the facility.
- Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.
- Responsible to oversee operation and maintenance of all ELV system with in the property like BMS, GRMS, SCADA, LV Panels, MDBS, Switch Gears, Generators, CCTV, Access Control system etc.

Sr. Electrical Project Engineer at Al Ali Engineering Co. Trading & Contracting

Projects:
Salwa Beach Resorts Project (Hilton Hotel), Southwest Salwa Road, Qatar. Site Area: 3.2 Million SQR. (2015-2019).
Desgin, Build & 400 days Maintiance of Asian City (Labor City Project), Industrial Area, Qatar, Site Area: 1.5 Million SQR. (2012-2015).
Responsibility:

- Supervise/Monitor site by day-to-day and running all MEP System and ELV system to the construction of the project and work progress.
- Checking/Accepting the submission of drawings, materials and claims.
- Observe work for conformance with the drawings, specifications and site instructions.
- Review detailed shop drawings and Material Submittal to ensures that quality of work is attained, target duration is achieved.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to the contractors/workers when problem arise requiring interpretation of the design, specifications and construction methods.
- Attend scheduled meetings as advised by the Project/MEP Manager with other parties i.e. Client, Consultant, Designer and Authorities etc.
- Prepare and review work progress as percentage for payment application to Owner/Consultant.
- Document Testing and Commissioning Plans and supervise all related commissioning activities.
- Rectify and complete Snags prior to Final Handover.
- Post construction 400 days responsible for maintenance and repair for the various electrical system for the project.
