 Responsible for managing the bank’s critical & high visibility projects within the constraints of delivering scope on time, and within budget and engaged during all the stages of the project from the initiation phase, through planning, execution, monitoring & control and until closure.
 Lead and supervise the project teams towards achieving the project’s objectives and liaise with all NBK teams including business and IT stakeholders.
 Monitor the projects’ risks, identify potential issues and proactively come up with mitigation and resolution plans.
 Monitor & Control the project execution & consistently report the progress to the project sponsor & Steering Committee members and keeping them informed through regular reporting mechanisms.
 Lead steering committee meetings & working group meetings.
 Manage the vendors & contractors to deliver on time & negotiate contracts with the vendor as well as legal units.
 Apply the PMI standards and NBK Project Management Governance in managing the projects.
 Manage conflicts between the project’s teams and motivate them towards delivering the project goals and objectives.
 Manage & Control the project changes (scope, time & cost) through the change control process.

 Key Projects:
 NBK eWallet Project: a 6.3 million dollars project for introducing electronic mobile wallets to facilitate the customers’ ability to purchase online & enhance the customer experience. (Market Presence & Brand Image)
 ATM Enhancements Project: a 1 million dollar project where customers will be able to perform card-less cash withdrawals & update their information through the ATMs.
 E-Statement Project: a 1.5 million dollars regulatory project mandated by the Central Bank of Kuwait aims to generate monthly electronic account & credit card statements sent to the customer via emails and targets to save the bank from the paper printing cost.
 SMS Gateway Replacement: A 1 million dollar critical project with high visibility from the senior management for replacing the existing NBK SMS engine/Gateway with a new reliable & high availability solution and enhancing the core banking system’s message delivery time.
 Banking Services for Special Needs: a regulatory project mandated by the Central Bank of Kuwait to enable the banking services for the special needs customers. Scope included establishing credit and debit cards with photos, Braille printing.
 15.1 Program (Major Enterprise Release): One of the bank’s annual program of change delivery which consists of 22 sub projects. Stakeholders included all business teams & all IT teams. The project was delivered successfully on time, within budget and as per the agreed scope without disruptions to the business. Appreciation messages were sent by the NBK Group CEO, the CEO and all other GMs. Accordingly I was nominated to lead & manage the second major enterprise release in a row.
 15.2 Program (Major Enterprise Release): It’s the bank second annual program of change delivery consisting of 28 sub projects Stakeholders also included all the bank’s business units and IT teams.
