Working closely with the Corporate HR VP, I am supporting in building an operating model to govern the relation between corporate HR and Operating companies working in different industries including Food, Energy and Health Care. I am also supporting the HR team in various areas including, learning and development, talent management, performance management and organization design.
As a member of the executive team at Panda reporting to the CEO leading a team of 180 HR professionals supporting different functions in delivering the business results. Accountable for all people matters including, Employee Engagement, Policies, Talent Management, Performance Management, Manpower Planning and Budgeting, Compensation and Benefits, Localization and Recruitment, Culture and Communication as well as People Development and Training.
Major achievements:
1. Leading the development of Panda people strategy and developed the people operating model.
2. Contributed to growing the business from 30 stores 800 Million SR sales and 4000 employees, to over 420 stores, 13 Billion SR sales and over 25000 employees from talent availability, people development, efficiency and systems perspective.
3. Built a performance management system linking individual performance to overall business strategy.
4. Contributed to increasing the business profitability through efficiency from 30 Million SR to over 500 Million SR.
5. Leading the Change Management track for a major ERP implementation working with Change Management Group from UK as the program lead.
6. Successful implementation and Go Live of Oracle HCM Module
Started as a training manager in 2003, overlooking all training design and delivery activities and developed a competency-based training and promotion system, which later formed the base of Panda Retail Academy. In 2006 I had added accountabilities including management development, assessment tools as well as employee engagement and internal communication.
In 2007 I moved to head Organization Design where I lead a major restructuring project, redesign of grading system and a new compensation strategy that helped the company get on track to achieve major growth from 60 stores to 480.
My job responsibilities included developing the curriculum for the undergraduate sales and marketing diploma and delivering various courses in Marketing, Sales and Communication.
During 18 months I worked on a number of consulting, research and training projects with clients, including, setting marketing plans, promotion campaigns, pricing strategies, supply chain and competitor analysis.
One of the key projects was delivering customer service training to over 1200 employees at Jordan Telecom over 6 months in 2002 as part of a major transformation in partnership with France telecom.
During my six month appointment I was involved in establishing the newly founded school, developing the business plan, developing the school administration system including accounts, fee payment, policies..etc.
Appointed as a teaching assistant by the university after graduating as top student in the Business Administration department.
During my 5 years at the university, I was involved in all academic activities including, teaching and research as well as student administration.
