Main duties are to manage the day to day activities of the IT division, fulfilling the establishment requirements of Hardware, Software, Services and other IT stuff with efficiency, on time and minimal costs.
Additional to my job as software engineer and systems administrator, the following has been added to my duties: Coordinating, planning and fulfilling the company's IT division requirements and resources by contacting suppliers, searching, purchasing the latest products in the IT sector.

Upgrading servers and workstations
I was the head of the team whose responsibility was to retire the old servers and pc’s, replace them with new ones running Windows server 2008 and clients machines running windows 7 professional . ( 5 servers and 95 users ).
I worked as software developer and systems administrator. Developing software applications using Microsoft .NET tools (Visual Studio, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, etc), Oracle server and MS SQL server. Administrating and maintaining the database servers Web server, ISA server and CAD servers. Support the employees doing their jobs and helping them when they face technical problems. Developing and updating company’s web site

Moving to Client/Server platform
I was member of the team assigned the responsibility to develop and build new applications, our responsibility was to build applications ) accounting, payroll, HR, etc) similar to the ones that were in house built and running on AS 400 platform, the new applications built for client/ server platform, the servers were running windows 2k and clients were running windows 2000, one of my tasks also was to build the relational database tables on MS SQL server, migrate the data from AS400 to the new database. Also participated in Installing, configuring and testing the new servers and clients computers.
ISA SERVER
This project was about how to grant the company employees internet access, while in the same time to control and monitor the internet usage activities, my task was to choose the suitable solution ( hardware and software) .I did my study and research, contacted the right supplier to deliver an IBM server with Windows 2003 server, I installed on it ISA 2006 Server, did all the necessary configuration, creating rules and access polices, and granting the employees internet access according to their work needs .
Duties include developing the applications necessary for showrooms ( sales and stock control ) prepare and print needed reports. Developing software applications upon customers request. Helping the support staff with the installation and running the customized applications on customer machines. Giving the necessary training for customers to use the applications.
Duties include desktop computers assembly and hardware upgrades, doing all kinds of formats, operating systems and software installations, upgrades and configurations. Delivery of computers and other peripherals like printers and so on to customer’s sites, doing all necessary installations, connections, configuration and running of hardware and software to ensure all working excellent and as expected. Giving the necessary training for end users.
