Each product has it's customization area, and this was the field of engineering department at Schindler in Egypt, besides, to make sure that the end item will serve both the customer and won't be out of the production standards of Schindler.
My role started from the Juniors level as this was my first job in the engineering field.
My job started as specifications officer, who would monitor the design and the specification changes in the produced models, and report the change to the related departments in case the change affects the product or the production (not all changes are applied our local specification for a certain model, although that they could be applied on the same model in other region specification).
My role has been growing from only monitoring specifications to testing the application of those design and specification changes, and then to product development.
My role then moved to project management in the last few months, besides the product development, and besides the few minor roles the I kept from the past (as production starts, the model and its specifications are becoming stable, and changes are not as frequent as they used to be).
In project management role, I used to start with the start of the model, and end my relation with this project by reaching the correct work flow (production and a stable phase of product development).
