• Creating IT strategies for the group; aligning the IT functions with the business requirement
• Mapping client's requirements and providing them best IT solutions involving evaluation and definition of scope of project and finalisation of project requirements
• Directing staff in identifying, implementing and maintaining processes across the organization to reduce information and information technology (IT) risks, responding to incidents, establishing appropriate standards and controls, and directing establishment and implementation of policies / procedures
• Executing end to end management of projects from conceptualisation and visualisation to technology mapping and final execution of projects
• Managing and leading team members; allocating resources among team members and guiding team members during the project, till final delivery
• Assessing IT requirements of the organisation in terms of software, hardware and other peripherals / products, and handling procurement of the same
• Providing strategic direction, ensuring that objectives are achieved, ascertaining that risks are managed appropriately and verifying that the enterprise's resources are used responsibly
• Keeping a close track of the developments in the field of IT Infrastructure and updating the top management about the developments and other changes in the industry
• Formulating disaster recovery plans and making routine drill arrangements; interacting with home office for updates in company IT policies, vendor management and IS standards
• Interacting with Helpdesk team on pending user support issues; reporting to Executive Management on support turnaround time and performance of IT team
• Successfully implemented Oracle Fusion ERP for the Corporate Office, Travels and Transport Division
• Implemented Oracle EPM- Hyperion Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation for the group
Azizi Developments is the real estate wing of Azizi Group and one of the leading property developers in the UAE; with multiple properties under construction with a strength of 1800 employees in 6 branch office across UAE.
Highlights:
• Centralized the IT Operations and IT Service delivery for the group; improved TTM and customer experience with reduced cost.
• Established comprehensive IT Infrastructure standards in regards to configuration and security; ensuring that met IT Governance, Audit and Compliance requirements.
• Maximised availability, stability, integrity, performance and scalability of servers, storage, network, security and services.
• Successfully executed the complete Sage ERP and CRM Implementation Project
• Streamlined the IT Helpdesk; managed the end-to-end Incident Logging Process to ensure issues are recorded, tracked & resolved
• Optimised service desk performance by regularly reviewing to ensure service delivery to agreed SLAs.
• Optimised backup policies, business applications support efficiency and operation procedures for the IT Systems.
• Centralized the CCTV operations of all the 6 branch office; introduced VMS Solution.
HMH is a Hotel Management company managing 17 Hotels across the Middle East. Spectrum of management solutions for varied market segments which includes Coral Hotels & Resorts, Corp Executive Hotels and Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel.
Highlights:
• Designed the end-to-end IT requirements for up to 9 pre-opening Hotels and opened them successfully.
• Clustered IT Operations along with Finance for three of the HMH Owned Hotels.
• Successfully migrated the Property Management Application across the group from Legacy Fidelio v6 to Opera v5, and the Point of Sale Application from Micros to Symphony.
• Responsible for setting up the IT Standards, policy and procedures for the group and ensured that the Hotel IT is operating as per the Corporate standards.
• Designed the IT Architecture and implemented 2-way Interface between Trust Central Reservation System (CRS) and Opera PMS
• Implemented the Serenata CRM and Serenata Sales Force Automation for all the managed hotels.
• Managed the PCI Compliance planning & implementation for the managed hotels.
