• Identify New Business Opportunities, track competition, identify & shortlist vendors, establish & improve terms of trade monitor timeliness of deliveries with desired fill-rates.

• Working closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how product should be displayed to maximise customer interest and sales.
• Category Sales forecasting
• Analyse the effectiveness of promotions in achieving the targeted levels of sales and margins.
• Ensure category performance is monitored against plan
• Analysing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles), and ensuring the bestsellers reach their full potential.
• Monitoring slow sellers, and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary.
