• Full accountability for delivering assigned projects from assess to execute including hand-over to operations and formal closeout.
• Establish and maintain good and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including process engineering, discipline engineers, HSSE staff, operations staff, Turn Around Team, procurement team, and execution contractors.
• Development of Project Execution Strategies and Plans, including management of interfaces and effective shutdown execution strategies for the assigned projects.
• Set up the Project team including Operations and maintenance representation
• Develop Technical Scope definition for assigned projects.
• Prepare scope packages for the execute contracts
• Manage contractors execute (engineering/construction etc.) and act as the prime focal point for these contractors for the assigned projects.
• Develop, share and incorporate lessons learnt throughout the life-cycle of the project.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Review engineering deliverable and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
