As a Maintenance Manager of Instruments, Vehicles and Facilities, My primary duties and responsibilities include:
1- Managing and coordinating maintenance activities for instrument vehicles and facilities, including planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance and repair work.
2- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
3- Developing and managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs, including monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
4- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and facility maintenance schedules.
5- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies and procedures.
6- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and increase reliability.
7- Collaborating with other departments and functions to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and coordinate resources.
8- Managing and supervising a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
9- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the availability of parts, supplies, and services.
10- Participating in emergency response activities as needed, such as responding to equipment or facility failures or accidents.
11- conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
12- developing and implementing improvement projects, and staying up-to-date with the latest maintenance technologies and practices.
13- Supervise and coordinate base camp facilities upgrade projects
As a Project Coordinator - block 9 project for three contracted services (wireline, MPFM / SWT and SLS ), my primary duties and responsibilities includes :
1- Planning, Scheduling and directing the execution of services related to wireline, MPFM, SWT, and SLS
2- Contribute to resource allocation, logistics and communication to client.
3- Maintaining project documentation, such as project plans, status reports and investigation reports .
4- Monitoring project progress and ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Keeping the Business line leaders updated .
5- Ensuring that project requirements and client guidelines are clearly communicated across the organization .
6- QC wireline services data and feedback the field engineers regarding corrections
7- Prepare contracted services programs
8- Collaborating with project team members, clients, vendors, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
9- Ensuring that all project activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
10- Audit and the produced service invoice of the contract and act as a focal point with client finance department .
11- Produce activity forecast and summary
12- Attend and lead service reviews
13- Coordinate and perform audits on active service packages
A Wireline General Field Engineer my main responsibility was providing technical support and executing wireline operations. The primary duties and responsibilities of a Wireline General Field Engineer includes:
1- Providing technical support to customers during the planning, execution, and interpretation of wireline services.
2- Conducting on-site inspections and troubleshooting to ensure proper equipment operation and identifying any issues that may arise.
3- Executing wireline operations, including running and retrieving wireline tools and equipment, perforating, and logging.
4- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including following safe work practices and conducting safety meetings with the crew.
5- Maintaining equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Analyzing data collected during wireline operations and communicating results to customers and other stakeholders.
6- Coordinating with other team members, such as supervisors, engineers, and operators, to ensure the success of wireline service .
7- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
8- Participating in training and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
9- Adhering to company policies and procedures, including following standard operating procedures and maintaining accurate records.
As an oil field wireline engineer may role is to supervise the logging operation from the very start when the call to the logging service come from the customer, till I deliver the data to the Customer, passing trough preparing the logging tools and calibrating it to perform efficiently the required service . at location my mission will be to provide a reliable data to the customer and also supervise the logging crew throughout the whole logging operation which was challenging enough to enhance my leadership skills and ability to work in a harsh, stressful work environment.
