Key Responsibilities:
Tendering Process:
• Preparing Technical Bid evaluations and recommendations during project execution, arranging BOQ, RFQ, and technical proposal for bid packages.
• Organizing project proposals including estimates, preliminary budgets, project schedule & timing.
• Analyzing contract documents, vendor quotations and preparing accurate material quantity including project management cost, overheads and margin as per specific requirement.
• Sending inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors to obtain necessary quotations; researching and suggesting the right and efficient equipment and materials; submitting RFI to consultant.

Design Management:
• Reviewing scope, time & cost impact, ensuring technical feasibility of project designs and engineering activities.
• Guiding Designer/Draftsman for preparing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) System tender packages including specification and drawings.
• Conducting studies to ensure proper equipment is specified; which fully comply with all applicable design/ client requirements and good engineering principles.
• Preparing material technical submittals that include all datasheets, engineering drawings, details, warranty, spare parts and others.

Project Management & Execution:
• Developing sequence of operations and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, contract specifications, and time over runs and quality.
• Ensuring all engineered solutions are commercially competitive to meet project scope and time constraints while assessing them for technical, business and budget feasibility.
• Performing technical evaluation of the equipment and material, conducting value engineering study to find alternatives during tender and after award.
• Collaborating work with other disciplines encompassing multiple projects managers (Architecture, Civil, and Mechanical, Electrical) and clients to maintain project schedules/budgets, achieve section targets and ensure successful project completion.

Technical Support & Coordination:
• Supporting Low Current Systems construction team technically, providing strategic inputs in preparing annual department budget in addition to writing reports for project managers and clients.
• Assigning work consistent with skills of staff in order to cost-effectively achieve objectives while concurrently implementing efforts to continuously improve performance and assure delivery on-time and on-quality final product.
• Coordinating with ELV System stakeholders in handling engineering works for variation orders (VO’s) and site technical support.
• Conducting daily site monitoring and calculating time, efforts and ratio of output of the resources required to complete the project.
