In 2024 till now I am working as an electrical power engineer for ras tanura department in aramco, some of the activities I have worked on is:
- Cable condition assessment.
- Isolation for transformers.
- Voltage conversion project.
- Planning for engineering activities.
- Replacement and termination for electrical cable in MCC.
- Relay testing.
During 2023 I have worked the year as an operation engineer which involved many tasks such as:
working as an operation engineer for 2 plants (utilities and co generation plants)
Investigating any failures or trips for the equipments.
coordinating any new projects for the plants.
Conducting HAZOP meetings and closing their items.
Facilitating weekly meetings between engineering, maintenance and operation.
providing risk assessment for repairing activities that includes toxic or high pressure and temperature.
coordinating preventive maintenance and T&I activities for the plant.
reviewing and approving job safety analysis, work permits and changes for the plant.
I joined aramco and worked the first 6 months as a project engineer on an oil and gas project, my tasks involved risk management, deliverables monitoring, communicating with proponent and contractor, conducted risk management meetings, participated in HAZOP meetings, attended project management courses and conducted site visits.
Project planning and managing the risk on electrical components. Also trained in cable harness and soldering electrical component and how to deal with electrical BOM.
I have experience with solar energy because my Senior Design Project was about designing a concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV) module. Also, I had the chance to work with my team (a team of 3) to do an energy audit to one of Snabel Al-salam Branches and managed to reduce about 30% of the consumption with our audit.
