My role involved but is not limited to oversee the design and deployment of functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN), tracking network performance and automation of tasks to enhance the performance of network. Purview of my role involves but is not limited to testing security measures, and recommending appropriate improvements to the performance, capacity, and scalability of the network.
Additionally, I am also involved in assisting my team members on several technical issues.
As I was promoted to the L2 Network Engineer, I was heavily involved ensuring upkeep of the network performance, troubleshooting of network issues, and escalating to providers and vendors whenever needed.
Contributed extensively to the development of network access, monitoring, and controlling security policies for the bank's network which are essential to secure the network.
Handpicked to work on the core banking project, to lead the testing and confirmation of core-banking modules that matches the banks requirements. I was also tasked with training the super users and provide any technical support as needed.
Started my career as a banker with the institution and went on to work in this profile for about 4 years.
