• Responsible for code compliance with all authorities i.e DEWA & Dubai Municipality.
• Provided front line troubleshooting, engineering, and maintenance support on an as needed basis after start-up
• Responsible for coordinating all subcontractors and many projects simultaneously.
• Prepared, completes or reviews all project documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Monitoring of construction installation, field coordination and provide necessary problem solving.
• Project completion, startup, testing and acceptance.
• Develop full plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following; all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements and integrated test plans demonstrating full system integration
• Designing electrical diagrams of villas and buildings using AutoCAD, maintaining standards & getting it approved from D.E.W.A (Dubai electric and water authority).
• Design, Review and process all electrical technical submittals.
• Design & Review Contractor's shop drawings, in compliance with DEWA drawings, Project specification and National and International standards.
• Prepare contractors' claims related to electrical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection. Assist in negotiations with consultant regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.
• Designs and reviews the technical coordination of systems such as lighting , small power, IT, communication networks, access control - CCTV, smart tv - fire alarm and other low current and lighting protection are necessary for the safe and environment friendly operation of buildings. Includes coordination with mechanical and public health systems.
• Review, approve and process all electrical material submittals and samples for compliance to the project specifications.
• Witness testing and commissioning of the works.
• Prepare plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates in such specialties as plumbing; ventilating and air conditioning; for noncomplex projects or those of limited scope
• Provides technical advice to staff regarding installation and maintenance of MEP systems.
• Oversee a comprehensive engineering project, with responsibility for insuring that the project is completed on schedule and within budget and for acting as a liaison between the consultant and other governmental agencies.
• Acts in liaison with other agencies exercising tact and diplomacy where the interests of private, city or county agencies, and those of the Judiciary are adverse to each other in order to reach an amicable compromise.
• May interview manufacturers’ representatives regarding mechanical equipment, and makes field inspections and inspections at manufacturing plants prior to acceptance of specially fabricated equipment.
• Implementing Home automation systems:
We have implemented the e-enabled Smart-Home Automation Systems for the villas in Al Barsha. The end users have the access to the systems in their homes via Smart-home terminal or I-Touch. The Smart-Home Terminal gives the ease of controlling the air conditioning, the lighting, appliances and monitoring of critical alarms and alerts.
