- Identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, Quality, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project.
- Conducting and Chair technical and progress meetings with owner representatives, main contractor and subcontractors.
- Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure HSE Zero Target requirements achieved.
- Proactively resolves performance, scope and schedule issues with the Client as they arise.
- Identifies, documents, communicates and meets the client’s requirements
- Effectively manages assigned budgets within the project total scope.
- Compliance with PMP (Project Management Plan)
- Effective change control process application.
- Achievement of claims mitigation and claims management if appropriate.
- Contributes to the development of overall project schedule.
- Supervises work in accordance with the approved schedule.
- Monitors cost aspects of the project within direct control to forecast final costs, identifies trends and takes action to avoid cost overruns.
- Promotes implementation of value improving practices on the assigned project to achieve overall effectiveness of the use of capital on projects.
- Contributes to compliance with Quality policies and procedures.
- Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives.
- Listens to the team, discusses the issues, resolves problems and directs activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives.
- Regularly provides clear reports to project management.
- Effective communication with the design team and third parties.
- Monitor the closure of all identified risks and opportunities.
- Sets clear objectives to the design team, including achieving productivity and budget targets.
- Ensures Site team aware of, and complies with, applicable regulations and codes.
- Assesses procurement processes throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.
- Ensure that a high level of co-operation exists between all concerned parties with any disputes or differences quickly and amicably resolved.
- Demonstrate a pro-active approach to contract management and solution of contract issues.
- Report and update the progress on regular basis.
- Produce performance report and introduce appropriate remedial measures monthly.
- Management of contracts such that they achieve or exceed predicted margins and that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Liaising with contractors, franchise partners, Operator, and municipality representatives for technical issues
- Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Comply with all Client policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice
- Comply with Operator codes of practice including but not limited to design aspects, material selection and maintenance requirements.
- Achieve Operator and Client requirements during handing over process of the project in addition to preparation of the snag-lists with ensuring the process of closing out by the contractor to finalize the work as per the standards requirements.
- Preparation of the substantial completion certificate and monitor the project status under operation for the issuance of the final completion certificate to the contractor as per the contract requirements.
• Capable of implementing a Quality Control Program at project level for a high quality building project, including setting up of a Quality Control Plan/Procedures.
• Enforcing the QA/QC system on main subcontractors.
• Conducting regular audits.
• Leading the QA/QC team on site and coordinating QA/QC matters with the Client’s team.
• Certified ISO 9001: 2008 - Auditor/Lead Auditor (Quality Management System Requirements).
• Prepare all documents such as QP, ITP, IPR, DS, MS, IRF, ....etc & reports according to
the approved specifications and contract.
• Implement the QA/QC management system at site.
• Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub contractors and vendors coordinate all non destructive testing on site.
• Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality matters.
• Coordinate all receipt inspections.
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in the site internal and external site audits.
• Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors.
• Ensure all quality control documentation is complied and competed for as-built hand over through the QC turnover engineer.
• Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.
• Compete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
• Review the owner represintative specification and undertake relevant training to the site QC inspector.
• Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
• Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer.
• Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel.
• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status.
