Establish and manage data quality policies and procedures and insure global ERP's data quality in dimensions of completeness, accuracy, uniqueness and accessibility
Oversee the ERPs Processes & Data Quality (P&DQ) Function.
Promote ERP P&DQ throughout SABIC and oversee P&DQ best practice usage in all ERPs globally in SABIC.
Ensures that SABIC's business processes are correctly modeled and that the standards, processes and data architectures to support these are put in place, taking into account any relevant statutory, internal or external regulations.
Hold the managerial and leadership accountability for the ERPs P&DQ department and developing employees.
Develop and facilitate appropriate implementation of ERP process and data quality strategies, policies and programs in order to guarantee and improve flawless ERP operations.
This senior position demanded setting up from scratch and managing the IT application Quality Assurance function for SABIC, developing, documenting, improving and enhancing the processes, procedures, standards, forms and templates.
Prepare, mange and monitor the department budget.
Built the department cababilities and ensure proper employees development.
Approve the release of SAP and other developed applications to the concerned production systems after proper testing and quality assuring.
Ensure provision of appropriate IT solutions develped follwing the set SELM (Software Engineering Lifecycle Management) procedures to meet business needs.
Monitors the application department performance and ensure services performance and availibility in accordance to the set internal KPIs and SLA KPIs and WLVs.
Advocate high quality standards in a diciplined and consistent manners.
Prepare and conduct quality audits and coordinate with internal and external quality auditors and assure compliance with set satndards and procedures.
Participate effectively in SABIC’s Information Security Committee (ISC).
Monitor the department budegt expenditure and control the services unit prices.
Acting as SAP sopervisor had manged two SAP upgrade projects from 2.2G to 3.1H and from 3.1H to 4.6C.
Provide hands-on functional support on SAP MM, PM, FICO and user admin.
Keep the SAP up and running by carrying out all the SAP and Oracle Administrator activities which included:
Managing transport requests, Setting standards and naming conventions, Access control, Spool and Batch Job Administration, Process Monitoring, User Adminstartion and Monitoring, and Problem Handling.
Source and Exchange of information within the company's network
Develop software using C and C++ under UNIX.
Report to the managing director.
