NBCC is part of Hayel Saeed Anam group, a world wide group employing 25, 000 employees. NBCC is one of the largest biscuits & snack manufacturing Co. in the Middle East. Established in Jeddah in 1988 and has a capacity 15 production lines with more than 900 employees, manufactures Dry / Sandwich Biscuit, Maamoul, Flat / Rolled Wafer & Coated / Uncoated Biscuits. As well as Real potato chips, extruded corn based products and popcorn. NBCC sells it's variants products to more than 25 international markets.
Reporting to DGM (manging owner),
In charge of HSE, Production, Maintenance and Quality.
•Responsibilities
Oversee daily sales and Operations of the Plant, exceeding Company sales and Operations Goals, Responsible for profit and loss in all aspects of the business.
•Leadership
Distribute workloads to plant Managers Lead, and implement Operation excellence in line with business requirements, through accountability and ownership to achieve individual & company targets
•Operations Strategy
Formulate & align Operation strategy with company mission, vision, values and strategic objectives in order to continually improve Operations efficiencies and accommodate the rapid growth of the business
•Operations Budget
Prepare, maintain, & control all budgets to ensure that expenditure is in line with the business plan
•Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure that all HSE standards (like OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001) are strictly adhered to, to ensure an accident free workplace
and good Manufacturing Practices.
. Comply with quality & hygiene standards with continual improvements and implementations

Its products range includes frozen convenience bakery and pastries, ready meals (meat, poultry and fish), and dairy products all sold under SUNBULAH and WALIMA brands. Sunbulah is also market leader in honey, its prominent brands are ALSHIFA and SARY.

Sunbulah Egypt, was established in 2005 to serve growing Egyptian market and as a manufacturing hub for Gulf and MENA countries.

Responsibilities included:
• Present vision for existing business and propose restructure model.
• Business development strategy.
• Financial performance and controls.
• Analyze new ventures and capital investments.
• Direct production to insure safely meeting set targets.
• Direct sales agreements and trade promotions with sales team.
• Responsible for legal, regulatory and governmental concerns.
• Present business and financial review to executive committee.

It’s the licensed manufacturer of some internationally recognized brands such as, Daewoo, and YORK. The group also includes furniture, and marble manufacturing companies.

• Present business and financial reviews to chairman and financial institutes

JAN.1995 Reporting to General Manager.

Trained at KC USA on tissue manufacturing technology, corporate quality /operation systems, and environmental process control.
Member in Mill start-up team supervising Mill construction, organization design, staffing, and training. Successful mill start-up under budget and on Schedule.

Mill QA responsibility in tissue manufacturing, converting, Water treatment operation and environmental control;

• Implement in-process quality system, process capabilities analysis, process control system, and products grades standardizations. Achieved 40% waste reduction.
• Member of the Saudi Arabian standards organization for setting tissue quality standards in the gulf.
• Process water optimization, reducing its cost by 30%, and increasing effluent treatment efficiency by 20%.

JAN.1995 to Senior Operations Manager
Aug. 1998 Reporting to General Manager.

Responsible for overall Mill’s operation;

• Mill safety committee to develop preventive and corrective safety programs.Increased safety learning leading to 20% reduction in accidents.
• Achieved targeted start-up production at 95% efficiency.
. Cost reduction projects, reducing variable cost by 10%.
• Training and development programs to achieve 75% nationalized workforce.
. Capital expenditure planning and operating budgets. Sustained “well-controlled” rating in internal control audits.
• Productivity and cost measurement systems for effective decision-making.
• Modeled KC human resource standards into a performance evaluation system.

Resigned from OKB due to having to relocate to Egypt.
