• Took the role of Project Lead to successfully lead the implementation of Eversuite Enterprise Document Management System. Project included implementation of Eversuite EDMS, implementation of Kofax Capture solution for scanning and integrating it with Eversuite EDMS and integrating Eversuite EDMS with our existing Oracle ERP systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluation and selection of the bidding vendors.
- Requirements gathering from the different stakeholders involved.
- Analyzing requirements gathered and aligning them with the goals and strategies set for the solution.
- Document analysis, and document and content types design.
- Creating business requirements documentation.
- Designing the architecture of the solution, its integration requirements and customizations needed.
- Designing a centralized strategy for document management and archiving for any solution that will contain a document lifecycle.
• Designing an architecture and developing a framework for the .NET development team.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing proof-of-concepts for using .NET 4.0 technologies; Entity Framework, WCF and WF.
- Designing and developing interfaces for the common concerns in .NET projects (Database connectivity, exception handling, business rules handling, audit fields).
- Implementing design patterns and development standards to be used for all projects set on this architecture.
• Development tools and technologies mainly used for our projects include .NET 4.0 on Visual Studio 2010 (including Entity Framework, WCF and WF), SQL Server 2008, and SQL Server Reporting Services.

Development Team Leader at i-Soft Emirates

• Outsourced in the General Headquarters of the United Arab Emirates Army (GHQ).
• Participated in the analysis, design and development of modules related to GHQ framework and system architecture. Including:
- GHQ Reporting Framework, code name “Print_RS”: Participated in the development of a central module to be reused by all internal applications for reporting. This module is based on Reporting Services and is applicable to be reused by all internal applications and on any database type.
- Livelink: Analysis and design for a central module to connect and use all features available by Livelink document management system, and envision a centralized strategy for document management and archiving in GHQ.
• Leading .NET teams to develop new projects, for different departments in the army (Military Archive, Sneaks). Responsibilities include:
- Creating the system vision.
- Systems analysis, database design and screen design.
- Determining task assignments and monitor team progress.
- Manage communication channels between clients, analysts, and programmers.
- Enforcing and evaluating compliance to approved quality standards.
- Evaluate and control the maintenance process by efficiently using the available resources to ensure user satisfaction.

• Currently outsourced in the General Headquarters of the United Arab Emirates Army (GHQ).

- Planning System: Plans army training and maneuvers. Calculates needs in weapons, artillery, fuel, food, water and manpower for these maneuvers.
- E-Imprest: Calculates advances and loans for army officers and staff going on missions, training and medical treatment.
- Service Request System: Used internally for communication between the team leaders, developers and implementation team for maintenance requests, bug-fixes and new features on existing systems.
