Line 3 of Riyadh Metro is of 41 km Metro with 22 stations of Elevated, Underground and shallow sections of 5.2 B USD ( 19.5 B Saudi Riyal ) Contract Value.
Construction management of the site including project planning, resources allocation, managing subcontractors, …etc. Scope of work is is 41 km corridor refurbishing and storm water drainage system, including sewer mainlines & house connections, landscape, irrigation, hard scape and street lighting.
Upon the resignation of the Managing Director, I was promoted to “ Acting Managing Director “. My main duties and responsibilities are:
•Work on Business development, secure new business ( Projects ) by leading estimating and proposals management.
•Meet the approved annual & quarterly revised business plans.
•Draw up budget to meet competitive and successful operations.
•Meet the approved annual cash flow forecast.
•Review progress and projects milestones.
•Qualify and approve subcontractors and vendors.
Brief duties / responsibilities:
- Responsible for the review of Design, verify quantities, and conclude the Contract, Operations, logistics and completion of a multimillion Saudi Riyal Housing Project in Qassim City.
- To see to it, that the task is performed to the fullest of the efficiency, to perform and give with truth and honesty and to deliver the performance with better success rates and determine the resources required for the purpose of production.
- To plan out an organizational structure to bring out ease and flow in the task, then lead the team and bring out the best in them
- Primarily to participate in meetings, discussions, project site visits & workshops.
Projects:
- Housing project for Saudi National Guard in Al Qassim, It consists of 1250 Villas; along with but not limited to sewage network, storm water, landscaping, irrigation, water supply, electrical networks and roads. This project was re-designed from the original concept to be constructed using the Tunnel formwork system; which is un-conventional construction method and proven to be cost and time effective.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operational unit.
Coordinate and confer with professional staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties, and authorize department operational procedures within corporate framework. Serves as management team member.
Provide support to any number of projects from an operational, financial and resource standpoint.
Responsible for developing strong field force including apprentices, labor foremen, carpenter foremen in conjunction with the general superintendent as well as project managers and superintendents.

- Ajyad Mecca Hotel in Mecca
- Residential Complex of 5 Villas and Diwanya for Bin Mahfouz family in Jeddah.
In complete charge of management & supervision services performed during construction at site.
Conducting meetings with Designer, supervisor, Owner, and trade contractors. Periodically and during the execution of the project.
Assigning duties & Tasks to staff reporting to me, consistent with the Management plan & the organization chart.
Furnishing monthly narrative report as required to the owner.
Monitor progress of DC, SC, & TC. And participate in constructibility reviews and studies during the development of design and construction stages. Schedule & conduct regular job progress meetings with staff and working contractors.
Project Includes:
The construction of a large up scale commercial center - Mall - of an approximate built up area of 150, 000 m2.
The project was decided to operate as fast track and mainly consists of the following packages:
Earthwork, Structural, works & Stone cladding, Finishing works, Electromechanical works, Interior design works, The conveying Systems, External works, and Landscaping.
Being the head of the Constructions Department, Responsible for all company projects around the kingdom, leading a team of supporting departments in office; planning, estimatation & proposals, contracts and engineering & Technical departments. Attend and conduct meetings when necessary with clients and sub-contractors. Resposible for billing, cash flow and cash expenditures.
Projects Include:
3 Schools in Qunfudha /Mekkah Area, 7 girls schools in the western region, 2 Sub-Stations ( 110/380kva) Jeddah & Taif, Labor Complex & Admin. Building at Dammam Sea Port, Private Villa and private rest house in Jeddah and Taif, Water Desalination Plant in Jeddah Sea Port, 2 infra-structure projects: Sewage Network in Sakaka - Jouf, and Replacement of water network in Riyadh. The company’s yearly turn over: SR. 100 Million.

Managing and supervision a team of engineers and staff of the project.
Planning and controlling progress and achievements. Assuring quality and safety procedures. Perform progress meetings in site with consultant and sub-contractors. Billing and invoicing. Prepare material kick-off and procurement.
Project include:
16 housing buildings consist of 214 apartments. Total area of 15000 m2. Turnkey basis along with all site development works. And electro-mechanical works.
Managing and supervising a multi-disciplined team of engineers, and administrative Staff of the project.
Planning and controlling the progress and the achievement comparing with initial plan.
Assuring the quality of the work executed to fit with design. And assuring all safety procedures statistically compared with numbers.
Conducting all necessary meetings with clients’ representative and consultant, evaluate change orders, and progress billing invoices.
Project includes:
13, 000 m2 shopping mall in the city of Tabuk. Up to the highest standards; materials as well as design. Completed with all aspects: Electro Mechanical/ HVAC. All site development works, hard and landscape.
Responsible for all communications with clients and consultants.
Supervise a multi-disciplined team of engineers, and admin. Staff of the project. Develop work plan for the project execution, and responsible for the construction and completion of the project as per the planned time schedule. Co-ordinate with client's other disciplines in the construction design techniques and effective implementation of work plan. Conduct meetings with client sub-contractor and suppliers. Evaluate change orders, progress-billing invoices; prepare cash flow and budgeting and scheduling for the project. Justification for capital expenditure and responsible for overall project profitability.
Project include:
30 Villas (2-storey) for one of SABIC group of companies/ SAFCO complete job including all site development activities and landscaping.
