Duties carried out • Studied, diagnosed, analyzed, evaluated and discussed the asylum files with the Legal Department of the Organization and gave subsequently legal advices and recommendations to clients.
•Made researches and gain information (when necessary) to support clients asylum requests.
•Prepare clients for interviews with the justice department, followed the procedure of asylum applications at the Dutch Ministry of Justice and liaised with the department of Immigration and Naturalization, Lawyers and other governmental bodies and organizations concerned with the asylums and asylum requests i.e.: Red Cross, Amnesty, The International Organization for Migration (I.O.M) etc.
• Carried out verbal and written interpreting duties in the English, Arabic and Dutch languages.
•Coordinated with clients, lawyers and the Justice Department in order to prepare for personal interviews, appointments and the submission of documents and evidences.
• Arranged personal interviews with clients to discuss variety of legal issues and gave detailed information and explanations of the following procedures and measurements taken or expected to be taken and the possible convenience actions towards them.
• Participated in the department's meetings and discussed all the administrative and legal issues and developments concerning related subjects with the head of the Legal Department and the legal team.
• Participated in the courses, trainings and other events designed by the Organization in order to develop the knowledge, experience and skills of its members.
• Coordinating with various departments within the organization in the field of housing, education, finance etc.
