A member of a small global team of physicians reporting directly to the CMO. This team is responsible for the strategic planning, management, integration and implementation of health information systems to promote excellence in health care through the development and implementation of InterSystems solutions.
- Recognized as the lead physician for TrakCare I’ve been commissioned to lead a team to build a standard clinical configuration for TrakCare that will be used across 15+ countries. In doing this we’re building this Global Edition based on the best clinical practices from all of these regions.
In addition to being involved in most of the projects for future developments as a clinical expert, I’m also in charge of a couple of them.
- Leading the clinical adoption efforts in the ME, China and India. Also involved to a lesser degree in France, Italy, UK, Chile and Brazil.
- Have been involved in sales efforts in the ME, France, Australia and to a lesser extent in Finland.
Product Management - Revamped the design of the electronic medical record. This led to a complete overhaul of the EMR and all of its components to work the way the clinicians think. This design concept later on was ported to the rest of the system making MedicaPLUS one of the best clinical systems in the region.
- Responsible for the tender responses for RFPs and was on all the major sales demos of the product.
Development - Developed most of the Active Medical Sheets. I also worked with the developers using SQL Server and VB6.
- Built the initial configuration that was then implemented in 35+ MOH hospitals in Saudi Arabia. I was also the Project manager for a couple of the smaller projects.
A company specializing in developing medical websites & providing technical services for medical establishments and physicians.
Managed work assignments for the team of web developers and also developed websites using PHP & MySQL. I was also the administrator for the hosting server.

This was my first full time job after graduating from the Faculty of Medicine. I started as a GP, then specialized in Cardiology and was working in the ICU and Cardiology department for the last 3 years.
Being the senior specialist I was managing some of the department’s admin work and the doctor’s roster.
The on duty Internist for the night shifts. Was responsible for all the Internal Medicine patients in the hospital in addition to any Emergency cases requiring an Internist.
Was also responsible for the Intermediate Care Unit patients.
EGYHeart was a medical center providing services for cardiac rehabilitation patients.
I was the field physician promoting the services of the medical center to consultant Cardiologists.
Also developed a website and brochures for the medical center.
Compulsory final year in the Faculty of Medicine. Spent 12 months in 7 departments.
