• As Owners Engineering Lead at Bruce Power, I led several asset management projects for the Engineering and Projects Division.
• Champion each phase of a project including procurement, RFP/ RFQ, bid evaluation and selection.
• Execute multi-discipline projects following the change control process for initiation, procurement, design engineering, installation and closeout.
• Manage risks and communicate with management, internal and external stakeholders and ensure quality management principals are adhered to.

• Overall responsibility for compliance of 50+ assigned projects with project controls standards - both from applicable contract documents and from Bruce Power project controls policies/guidelines bound within BP-PROC-00840.
• Coordinated with internal & external stakeholders to build project schedules within Primavera 6 (P6) and Design Quotes (SDQs) for future work in accordance with milestones and internal targets, ensuring project estimates and baselines are aligned.
• Worked with project team to accurately identify project scope, establish required engineering deliverables thereafter.
• Updated project cash flows monthly, continuously monitored & analyzed the project scheduling and cost reports (CPI/SPI), accruals and invoices, and took corrective actions to maintain the project within anticipated cost and schedule.
• Reviewed PMC project estimates and project scope documents to accurately capture the design engineering effort into the Design Quote.
• Maintained the project schedule and design deliverables in a manner which optimized efficiencies, escalated any potential risks for deliverables falling within the commitment adherence to gain support.
• Coordinated within plant design, to safely procure old and new equipment as required for the plant.
• Performed Item Equivalency Evaluations (IEE) along with various procurement evaluations as needed.
• Resolved technical buyer inquiries and cleared up any questions the vendors had regarding the design basis/requirements.
