Regional Information Security Head for Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan
• Reporting to the Head of IT & Organization and leading a team of 5 resources for IT Governance and Security management ensuring continuity in business operation.
• Accountable to lead the time in designing, implementing and control of Information Security framework throughout the enterprise, ensuring conformance to the business goals of the Group.
• Managing IT strategy definition for efficient management and protection of the information assets, including computing & networking equipment & technologies.
• Responsible for the creation, review and maintenance of Information Security Framework for the organization through knowledge dispensing and awareness
• Coordinating all efforts made by Group Companies to achieve uniformity throughout the Enterprise.
• Involved in monitoring the overall level of security and the level of compliance against the Group Information Security Framework.
• Spearheading the efforts to document the regulatory, statutory and other requirements that the enterprise. must adhere to.
• Participating in procurement/development/upgrade of systems and applications and approves their security requirements.
• Supporting establishing and maintaining the IT risk register and integrating with the Enterprise risk management register.
• Performing day-to-day team administration routines as well as team development initiatives
Reported to the Head of IT & Organization and led a project team of 5 resources in implementation of multiple solutions/services in an Enterprise environment.
• Accountable to lead the team in technology projects in the areas of payment, payroll, cheques, treasury and Legacy data migration.
• Managed all functions of project life cycle from initiation to requirement elicitation, project scoping, estimation, planning and execution control.
• Responsible for reviewing project budgets and ensuring that they are well managed by the project budget owner.
• Involved in defining and maintenance of project management methodology & procedures including document templates, identifying project phases, reporting and planning information for successful project delivery.
• Spearheaded defining and implementation of metrics that measure project performance along with business cases and project charters.
