Position held is: Supply Chain & Sourcing Director
Summary:
Rapid technology changes and digitalization creating agile supply chains providing the company with new capabilities to quickly capitalize on new opportunities and break down old barriers. Responsible for setting the direction globally, meeting customer needs and business requirements in all areas of the supply chain systems, for example:
•Warehouse Management System (WMS) renewal and standardization, supporting new automation initiatives
•Demand planning, S&OP in addition to Bottom up & Top Down forecasts and reviews and tracking differences vs actual sales through different channels and business intelligence for supply chain optimization, taking advantage of new methods for analytics
•Support both B2B and B2C operations as well as new value adding services across all lines of business
•Mix of Strategic Procurement & operational experience, commercial experience, and a high level of business acumen and system knowledge. Ability to drive and operationalize programs on-time, on-budget and delivering optimum customer experience within a complex and changing internal and external business environment.
•Engage vendors to provide cutting edge technology and systems
Managing leaders in several supply chain system areas and make sure it is aligned with the overall company strategy. Partnering with engineering and operations leaders, executives to identifying opportunities and concerns regarding supply chain systems, new technology, customer solutions, and to develop strategies aimed at driving efficiencies and innovation while improving productivity and adding new supply chain capabilities.
Ensure that our supply chain solutions will adhere to defined architectural requirements, project management and other methodologies, while planning and guiding the evolution of the company’s supply chain environments to support the requirements of new standards, methods and business requirements.
Responsible for hiring, salary decisions, performance reviews, discipline, promoting and training of direct reports. Accountable for managing the budget of the department.
Experience
•A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering 91 In addition, to a Post graduate Diploma in computer Science 94
•20+ years of managing complex projects involving multiple technology areas used in the Supply Chain
•10+ years of experience of managing a team of at least 12 team members, in supply chain systems and dotted management of Warehouse
•Proven experience of working in a complex international environment
•Anticipating company and customer needs in response to changing requirements
•Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, internal and external customers and other relevant technology and business partners
•Strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
•Managing third party providers
•Managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects
•Leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups
•Developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
•Manage the budget and report metrics for the group
•Create and lead a supportive team-oriented work climate that enables business team members to develop professionally and that values diversity, promotes teamwork and collaboration and emphasizes quality, customer satisfaction, creativity and cost effectiveness
