The U.S.-Egypt Higher Education Initiative (HEI) Public University Scholarships program is a scholarship, administered by AMIDEAST, funded by USAID, and supported by the Government of Egypt, the program interweaves the private sector and practical experiences so that graduates are primed to enter and contribute to the workforce in Egypt, in sectors that are critical to Egypt’s economic development.

•Oversee comprehensive promotion and recruitment activities throughout Egypt in conjunction with sub-grantee.
•Conduct a fair and transparent scholarship screening and selection process for each of the five scholarship cohorts.
•Carry out recruitment outreach campaigns in 27 Egyptian governorates.
•Conduct Interviews and evaluate applicants based on the scholarship requirements and applicant qualifications.
•Manage assessment camp, including selection panels from the universities, ministry of higher education, private sector representatives, US embassy and USAID members for each cohort.
•Track and monitor student progress to ensure that all student needs are met, and all students are on track in coordination with University advisors.
•Check all students’ progress and alignment with requirements at the end of each summer.
•Ensure that students are adjusting to independent university life and being away from home, are performing academically and are participating fully in all enhancement activities.
• Support students, identifying when help is needed beyond university advisors’, peer coaches’ and mentors’ support.
•Collect and contribute M&E data as per the M&E plan.
•Collect and submit cost share data and develop new sources of cost share.
•Participate in the recruitment and induction of the assigned project’s staff and volunteers and monitoring the assistants and the interns’ job contributions and coaching them.
•provide an overall Analysis of the sub grantee activities and budget and make recommendations for future deals with training providers and local partners
•Quarterly reporting (narrative, financial and work plans implementation) with progress and targets.
•Monitor graduated students and support universities in tracking their data and employment status.
Coordinate with line managers at (Head office, Sites & factory) to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and preferences.
Take a proactive approach to meet staffing requirements by attracting, sourcing and screening applicants using (Headhunting, Databases, Networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls and employees’ referrals)
Design and List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels.
Conduct tests for job applicants (English/French -IQ).
Conduct competency-based interviews and uses appropriate assessments.
Source applicants who meet the specified criteria for the position.
Giving offers to successful applicants negotiate when necessary and regrets unsuccessful applicants.
Check candidates' references with their previous employers.
Update the candidates' database for future open positions.
Develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels and build recruitment materials for presentations and job fairs.
Establishing & maintaining a good rapport with the Employees to maintain high level of Employees satisfaction.
Design Job descriptions, qualifications & KPIs for current & expecting employees in coordination with the hiring managers.
Preparing organization charts for all company departments and the factory.
Participate and organize Job fairs and new comer’s orientation.
Prepare recruitment weekly progress report.
Training Duties
Responsible of the company website from creation to launching (www.psp.org.eg )
Prepare Training Materials and evaluation forms.
Conduct training session for soft skills and new comer’s orientation.
Liaise with department managers to determine the training needs and oversees the development of courses to meet those needs.
Coordinate, schedule and conduct soft skills and technical trainings for new and current employees.
Preparing Training Schedule & maintain Training Filing System.
Maintain Training Correspondences and Policies through IMC (Industrial Modernization Centre) process.
Lead and Train 2 junior HR coordinators.
Prepare training weekly progress report.
Coordinate with line managers at (Head office, Sites & factory) to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and preferences.
