DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Al Habtoor Engineering)

➢ Supervise both structural and architectural works.
➢ Prepare BBS (bar bending schedule) to avoid wastage before ordering.
➢ Supervise concreting works and make estimates for the volume of concrete needed to avoid excess prior to ordering.
➢ Prepare DIS and IR and submit to the consultants for approval.
➢ Report and attend coordination meeting with construction managers to make sure that no problems will occur during construction.
➢ Prepare and monitor the accomplishment of subcontractors and checks that all activities are according to approved method statements and materials are within specifications.
➢ Supervise blockworks, plastering, and tile works to ensure good accomplishment on quantity and acceptable quality.
➢ Prepare estimates for all needed materials to avoid losses and wastages.
➢ Coordinate with the consultant to ensure that all plans are approved before execution at site.
➢ All necessary civil works occur at all time within the jurisdiction.
➢ Prepare look ahead schedule and day to day programs.
➢ Coordinates to QC and MEP department regarding status of inspections and clearances.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Philippines)

➢ General supervision both on horizontal and vertical structures.
➢ Interpret work plan and structural drawings per section and elevation.
➢ Supervise and delegate the work flow to labors per department.
➢ Coordinate with inspectors and discuss problems that encounters during construction and resolve to ensure smooth flow of works.
➢ Monitor and evaluate the weekly accomplishment of subcontractors.
➢ Prepare monthly reports of the status of every projects handled, to ensure that projects should be accomplished on time or ahead of schedule.
➢ Prepare and make estimates of materials needed before ordering to avoid excess or wastage.
➢ Check plans and drawings to ensure that all materials used are approved and within specifications.
➢ Prepare all paper works such as daily activities, manpower report, and equipment's status.
➢ Prepare inspection request such as pouring request, formworks enclosure and submits to consultant for approval.
➢ Direct coordination with Site Managers for resolutions of serious site obstructions and site problems.
