Accounting & Financial Tasks:
- Implementation of a new chart of account.
- Accounting daily entries, monthly and yearly closing.
- Responsible for the contact with the auditors and the coordination of the issuance of the audit report.
- Financial reports (monthly): P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
- Budget and Budget control: Coordinating the development of annual budgets, controlling the budget versus the actual financials and measuring the variances.
- Accounts payable (Purchasing control, aging of accounts, payments)
- Accounts receivable (Credit Control, payments terms, collections)
- Bank relationship, cash and bank transactions, bank reconciliation
- VAT and Tax declaration.
- Financial reports sent to GE: Professional Fees, T&L.
- Travel & living expenses: Vouchers reconciliation, credit cards reconciliation (Daily/weekly checking on credit cards balances).
- Handling employees cash boxes: Records of cash withdrawals, cash spent and cash returned.
- Office daily purchases and petty cash expenses.
- Control of Mobiles bills, (personal and business calls)according to policies.
Human Resources tasks:
- Developing the Human Resources department (Employees files, contracts, NSSF, Insurance..).
- Developing Human resources forms and templates (Job application form, employment form, vacation request, Job description form, employee information card, payslip).
- Payroll (Salaries, NSSF, Income taxes, other employee’s benefits).
- Handling social security and Income tax files: Maintaining a spotless and current relationship with NSSF and MOF, in terms of integrity, accuracy and timing of declarations, payments and filings.
- Social Security medical standard forms (Hospitalization paper work, Medications, lab test form).
- Vacations schedule.
- Recent Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Creation of the Company "Internal Regulations".
