Hend Khalki

Dr. Hend KHALKI is a Tunisian linguist specializing in language policy and multilingual education, currently based in Shanghai, China. She holds an MA and PhD in Linguistics from Beijing Language and Culture University and completed postdoctoral research at Shanghai International Studies University.

Her academic focus lies in language policy, sociolinguistics, and multilingual education, with a particular interest in China-Arab cultural and linguistic exchanges. With over a decade of experience, she has taught Arabic and French courses at Shanghai International Studies University, integrating intercultural perspectives into her curriculum.

Proficient in Arabic, French, English, and Chinese (Mandarin), she actively contributes to cross-cultural dialogue as an academic translator and interpreter. She has translated scholarly works from Chinese to Arabic and provided interpreting services for official international delegations.

Dr. Khalki is available for a full-time academic appointment starting September 2026.
