Reporting to the Managing Director my principle focus included the development and execution of the sales and
marketing strategy and providing market intelligence and strategic advice to the management team to facilitate
achievement of the company objectives.
Further accountabilities included:
* Effective management, coaching, motivation and development of the sales team including in-store
promoters
* Develop and implement sales programs, plans and polices
* Design, present and execute annual brand strategic plans
* Prepare and present annual budget and sales forecast for brand
* Monitor and analyse the brand, market and competitor performance to identify strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats
* Organise and attend trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences to maximise brand potential
* Manage and train large network of Doctors, Pharmacists, Clinics and retailers throughout the territory
* Represent company in negotiations with customers and suppliers and other key contacts to secure effective
and profitable contract terms
* Manage in-store merchandising and stock control for brand
