06/2010-date SWECO- Sustainable Engineering and Design Disi Water Conveyance Project
The Disi-Mudawarra to Amman Water Conveyance Project is responsible to convey about 100 MCM/yr of water over some 325 kilometers from Dubyadib well field (located near the towns of Disi and Mudawarra in the south of Jordan) to Greater Amman.
A total of 55 wells (46 operating and 9 stand -by) are to be constructed to produce an average flow rate of 100 MCM/year. The pipeline will comprise a southern section of some 110km across open land and a northern section of around 215km situated within the alignments of public highways.
I am currently occupying two positions within this project, briefed below: Management Technical Support Engineer
• Overlook financial, contractual, planning and scheduling issues of the Disi Project.
• Assist management in specifying responsible engineering department for technical review and related correspondences.
• Instruct administrative officers on proper and relevant documentation of engineering documents when needed.
• • Provide knowledge and advices in the fields of water supply techniques.
• Coordinate and support high level monthly progress meetings through preparing MWI/WAJ's leading presentations.
• Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MOM) for -Multi-national- progress meetings.
Senior Environmental Engineer
• Assess environmental impacts of project construction activities and conduct Monitoring studies.
• Design suitable mitigation measures to overcome environmental impacts of the project construction activities.
• Prepare project specific Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Construction Environmental Management Guidelines (CEMGs)
• Revise and follow up on the environmental submittals, conduct site visits and assure good communication and dialogue with the Project Affected Persons (PAPs) all through the well-field and along the conveyance pipeline and reservoirs.

Scope of work: Writing of projects proposals, design project activities, follow up running projects, reporting, follow up on projects timing and budgeting, tenders preparation and evaluation.
Project coordinator (Water Wise Women Initiative, GTZ funded)
Scope of work: Field training, preparation and revision of training manuals, follow up project timing and budgeting, reporting to the funding agency, activities coordination and management, help in the design of project activities,
Field supervisor (Environmental engineer at MEDWA project, EU funded)
Scope of work: • Assist the design of WWTP and Greywater (GW) treatment units for domestic houses and schools.
• Environmental monitoring of the GW units, provide technical assistance in water and environment related activities while dealing with local communities.
• Supervise the construction works the GW treatment units at 3 different governorates.
• Provide on-site training for operation and maintenance of the treatment units.

Environmental researcher
Scope of work: Sampling and monitoring of ground water resources, preparation of ennvironmental impact assessment studies.
My thesis was in the field of designing and evaluating the subsurface Constructed Wetlands for Greywater treatment at household level. After completing my Masters, i was approved for a PhD scholarship in Germany, as Environmental Engineer, which i had to decline after the approval.
2000- 2004 Bsc in Water and Environment Management.
