An experienced Corrosion and Material Engineer with strong academic background and solid hands on experience working in the oil and energy industry. Skilled in material selection for various plant equipment and components to deliver cost effective engineered solutions while meeting design life, operational requirements and most importantly ability to stand predicted corrosion internally and externally.
Review chemical inhibitor dosage/optimization and technical compatibility with cost benefit analysis.
- Monitor and follow up on corrosion monitoring data.
- Ensure proper application of corrosion prevention methods and procedures, applying design thinking
principles to modify as appropriate.
- Select suitable paint systems and ensure proper application and testing procedure.
- Perform corrosion control failure analysis to determine root-cause of reported failures, working in
conjunction with company metallurgists and laboratory personnel to develop remediation plans
- Working with operations on pigging of pipelines and analyzing data gathered during pipelines
maintenance activities
- Participate in annual corrosion reviews and cathodic protection surveys
- Develop and review ADNOC OFFSHORE specifications and standards to support business continuity
and to meet minimum requirements of latest editions of NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156
