Responsibilities include instructing students enrolled in Arabic language courses offered by the Center for Talented Youth Online Program. Monitors student progress, develops and teaches lessons, interacts with students using distance education technologies, and provides timely assessments and feedback to students and parents.
Islamic Society of Frederick (ISF) is currently serving more than 2, 000 community members. Services are offered through four main departments: religious, social, youth, and educational departments. As a community Liaison coordinator, responsibilities include but not limited to: Help maintain close relationships with community organizations. Responsible for ISF’s public relations and community outreach programs. Coordinate and maintain workshop programs and onsite cultural and interfaith activities. Assist in developing and compiling education resources for schools and community groups.
As an education consultant, I started 2 different group learning programs and an individual student-based program that targets advanced professionals. The programs serve a total of 45 students.
Responsibilities:
(1) Developing thematic language curriculum for each developmental level.
(2) Providing effective, appropriate and differentiated language instruction.
(3) Utilizing appropriate instructional strategies for developing comprehensive content.
(4) Managing to provide high quality language instruction with cultural authenticity.
(5) Promoting achievement and bilingualism in an enriched education model.
(6) Instructing students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods.
(7) Developing and scheduling review of lesson materials and assessments to determine student’s progress and recommendations.
The Ads Quality Rater position involves using a web interface to judge the quality of the client’s website-Google Inc. advertisements and other advertising-related data. The feedback provided through these ratings ultimately helps to monitor and improve the functionality of Google's advertising products.
Main duties during this governmental project were to develop flexible and dynamic learning models based on content-language integration and intercultural harmony, and to set learning objectives combined with effective instructional strategies for each model. Curriculum and learning models were developed for U.S. governmental professional employees in advanced level in the language. Developed models were ILR levels 2+, 3 & 3+
Responsibilities:
(1) Developing instructional materials according to project specifications.
(2) Reviewing e-learning content and providing feedback on quality to ensure adherence to project governmental standards.
(3) Working with team members to improve the quality of e-learning materials.
Responsibilities included but were not limited to:
(1) Implementing, instructing, and coordinating of the Life Skills Program in partnership with DRC (Danish Refugee Council) NGO, for youths between 14 and 18 years; a total of 75 beneficiaries.
(2) Providing case management services to the youth inside Palestinian Refugee Camp to ensure their health and to assist them in attaining a more satisfactory social, psychological, and educational outcomes.
(3) Assessing problems, strengths and needs of beneficiaries.
(4) Assisting beneficiaries in developing and using their own potential for more adequately resolving social, educational, emotional and insecurity problems.
(5) Making referrals to other public and private social service organizations, community agencies and resources to meet the beneficiaries' needs and provide a proper intervention when needed.
(6) In close coordination with UNRWA (United Nation Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), provided social help on remedial education for the beneficiaries.
(7) Providing beneficiaries with the opportunity to be heard and receive help inside Palestinian Refugee Camp in coordination with other social agencies, Lebanese government officials and NGO’s.
(8) Conducting group sessions which aims were the refugees to feel empowered to deal with their psychological difficulties by providing specialist counselling, psychotherapy and support.
(9) Following up with the donor (Danish Refugee Council) on the course of the project, its objectives, deadlines and indicators.
(10) Preparing progressive and narrative reports during the course of the project.
Responsibilities included but were not limited to:
(1) Teaching English language as a second language to students at schools, universities and professionals.
(2) Supervising seminars on use and scope of English languages.
(3) Participating in developments in consultancy and other language activities in the institute.
Helped in identifying student’s goals and potentials. Assisted students to achieve their personal, academic, and career goals. Worked closely with professors and other academic entities with high level of knowledge about curriculum, requirements, and regulations.

(1) Preparing materials such as student information, students’ sponsorship and preparing their academic documents.
(2) Advising students on studying in the universities at different degree levels and arranging their best academic options.
(3) Liaising between universities and students.
