Key Roles & Responsibilities:
PRE CONTRACT
• Prepare construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications;
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
POST CONTRACT
• Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of Contractors monthly payment applications and finalizing the payment certificates.
• Reviewing the Request for variation accordance with contract agreement, provide the recommendations and valuation of variations.
• Implements cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in the construction contracts.
• Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of entitlement of Contractors claims for review and issuance by the SQS.
• Assist the SQS in the review, negotiation and preparation of claim settlements with the Contract’s Department of Client and the Engineer (PMC).
• Participate in the preparation of Final Accounts with all supporting documentation

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
PRE CONTRACT
• Study tender documents, BOQ, Specification, Drawings, scope of work, contract details & condition.
• Send inquiries and collect quotations from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Preparing tender clarifications and update the changes.
• Evaluate the unit rates for new work items, maintaining records for day work schedule.
• Participate in pre - tender meetings, site visit.
• Preparing required bid documents for commercial and technical submittals
• Response for the post tender technical clarifications and commercial as well.
POST CONTRACT
• Verifying subcontractor claim and preparation of Payment Certificates.
• Reviewing the subcontractor’s variation claims requested accordance with subcontract agreement and provide the recommendations.
• Preparation & getting approval from Management and submission of payment certificates, invoices, etc. and following up on approved payment certificates, invoices, etc. to ensure the payments are released on time.
• Preparing notification of variations (NOV), analysis of variations, preparations / valuation of variations.
Project - Al Shahad Tower (5B+G+38)
Client - Hamad Abdul Aziz Al Kawari

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Claim Management by verify and check the main Sub contractor’s Claims, investigate for evidence to validate the claims by coordinating with the project manager, prepare claims including narrative, keep track and update claim log and management.
• Commercial Management by draft contract agreements in a very clear and concise manner, Monitor the ongoing projects regularly and make sure process in-line with the contractual requirements, provide cost reports and cost control advice.
• Contract Management by providing contractual advice on project contractual requirements, issue notices in timely manner for the claims, delays, variations or any other circumstances which requires notices under the contract.
• Contract Administration by preparing contractual correspondences for Employer, Engineer, subcontractor and interface coordination, notices for EOT, claims & Variations, preparation of Interim Payment applications (IPA), Certify subcontractor’s Interim payments, Final account and final turnover documentation.
• Data Management by collect, collate, store, analyses and produce reports as required by the management
• Communicating and corporate with the design and construction team members to deliver the project in a successful manner.
Project - UDA-Housing Project-Aluth Mawathe (B+G+12)
Client - Urban Development Authority

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the analysis and evaluation of all contractor claims by the contractor and other contractual matters.
• Liaise with the SQS to ensure prompt submittal and completeness of Contractors monthly payment applications and assist the SQS in finalizing the payment certificates.
• Advise the SRE and REs on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.
• Assist the SQS in the preparation of variation orders.
• Assist the SQS in the preparation of financial statements for monthly report.
• Partake in the auditing of payments to Contractors.
• Check and record measurements of completed work.
