• Involve commissioning of new system, take the functionality tests, prepare the snag lists, and attend the snag list for the successful commissioning & smooth take of new system / facilities.

Assist in the development of practical skills and scientific teams
• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is need to correct.
• Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
• Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
• Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment.
• Install electrical system components (e.g. lighting, alarms, electrical panels, switches, circuits, scoreboards, timers, etc.)
• Test solid-state circuitry to determine defective components in analog and digital equipment along with defective parts replacement.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
