• Overall Management of Projects from Inception till implementation and handing over.
• Preparation of Program Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Management Plan (PMP), as a guide to the project teams in performance of their duties; identifying responsibilities, actions and procedures.
• Establishing and preparation of planning and scheduling control systems, development of plans for managing project cash flow and ensure appropriate cash flow management.
• Setting up all projects communication plans to ensure engagement of all stakeholders.
• Mobilization of resources and experts needed for the program execution.
• Establishing strong communications with authorities and Clients.
• Ensuring implementation of laws, building codes and authorities’ requirements.
• Leading the development, planning and resourcing of large scale and multifaceted projects, track resources and recommend alternative course of action in cases of anticipated delays.
• Reviewing construction programmes received from contractors and analysing them in line with the contractual requirements.
• Preparation of updates, progress reports and presentations for Management.
• Analyse Contractor’s Delay Claims to establish the contractually justified extension of time and provide recommendation for the client approval.
• Ensuring the implementation of high standards of safety in the Projects complying with local authorities and international codes.
• Maintaining and Managing record of claims, Extension of time and mitigating additional cost and Contractors claims. Negotiating claims and arriving to resolutions with the stakeholders.
• Ensuring that Project delivery plans are developed in a way that minimizes projects risks from inception phase.
• Resolve Compex and pressing challenges in coordination with leadership and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage internal relationships and aligning different department goals.
• Maintain flow of technical information to projects to maintain construction progress schedule.
• Creating mock ups and benchmarks for approval of Clients and Senior Management.
• Leading and Management of Value Engineering exercises to reduce cost and introducing constructability methods that reduce time and result in better quality.
