New systems developed to improve and control customer satisfaction like Maintenance Reminder System (MRS), EDI with suppler, Procurement system and distribution for branches, Electronic dashboard for service centers, electronic appointment system, New printing culture.
Update incentive scheme policy, implementing SAP HCM for all Al Futtaim companies in Egypt except Toyota, set up Shared services for Al Futtaim Group in Egypt, implement attendance and access controls for all branches, Establish call center services for Automotive business.
Setting IT Strategic goals aligned with business objectives, developing and building teams capable to attain short and long term plans. Coaching, developing, instructing, teaching, advising others, help them develop their knowledge and skills, creating individual development plans. Utilizing new technology to improve IT services like Tracking system for units, VoIP for all branches, Video surveillance for security, MIS - OLAP - Dashboard, Toyota Site Builder subscription renovation and updating business process adding new roles and cost centers to complete automotive process cycle.
Implementing Service center application at El Abbasiah 3S facility as first 3S facility model established in Egypt for Passenger and Commercial cars. Develop screen analysis to read online real-time labor efficiency, productivity, utilization, calculate incentive for direct and indirect labor in service center structure. Implementing Payroll system, taxation, HR information management, Banks form transfer, reports and analysis.
First web site for Toyota Egypt and Honda lunched during that period create new role in IT and marketing to coordinate and maintain web site development. Email services established in house to maintain user’s mails, calendar, contacts, and document flow process.
Implementing new ERP systems for Automotive which were represented by Toyota Group & Honda Group. Main project Challenge to learn user’s concept ERP integration, Change organization structure, Change chart of account, training on process and new roles, mapping old data to new database tables and data migration. A lot of customization and development effort to align new ERP system with Egyptian market business needs.
Join as a Project Systems Manager to establish IT shared systems for Al Futtaim companies in Egypt. I had spent preparation period in Head office - Dubai to understand the following: Understand Organization structure and linked to finance chart of account cost center levels. Using the same Chart of account for Al Futtaim - Dubai for Al Futtaim Egypt companies build up management reports consolidated. Identifying clear project objectives, Create project steering committee, IT training plan, Architecture landscape, Infrastructure requirements, Hardware procurement and ordering, Hardware installation and network testing, Data migration, Authorization matrix / roles.
I had started my carrier at Al Naboodah Group as an accountant for 5 years, shifted my carrier to join IT Department as OCC establishing and shifting operations from manual process to IT systems. I decide to get professional IT certificate while I was working as OCC. I got Diploma and Higher Diploma in 4 Year time, promoted to Senior Systems Analysis and I had filled that position for 5 years developed a lot of new systems.
