The tremendous growth of trade and operations in Dubai during the period of 2006 to 2009 led to increased operations within the Dubai Customs and ultimately expansion and development of the Business Process function. I was involved in the evolution of the Business Process department and the transformation of the organization as a whole with respect to its organization structure. My role included the following;

Responsibilities:
• Accountable to plan and lead of continuous process improvement and quality capabilities across the organization.
• Managing initiatives for business processes improvement through Customer-Centric, Outside In (OI), & Customer experience approach to enhance customer service, decrease operational expenditures, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Responsible to coach teams of process improvement analysts to support the delivery of key programs.
• Coordinating with key business leaders and process owners across the organization to identify, frame, evaluate and prioritize organization-wide process improvement opportunities that enhance our customer experience.
• Supporting the growth and development of key process improvement capabilities across the organization through facilitated workshops, training sessions and presentations.
• Involved in the development & implementation of BPM service operations.
• Spearheading Business Process Management (BPM) Methodology throughout the organization.

Achievement:
• Successfully realized a Cost Saving of AED 18 million in 2013 through process improvement initiatives.
• Successfully realized a Cost Saving of AED 42 million in 2012 through process improvement initiatives.
• Successfully realized a Cost Saving of AED 22 million in 2011 through process improvement initiatives.

In this capacity, I report to the Vice President and responsible for the following:
• Global business process standardization and management including: the design and documentation; monitoring and auditing of effectiveness; end-user adoption; the establishment and tracking of KPI’s; and the implementation of functional system monitoring of critical business processes.
• Implementing the Business Process Management (BPM) Methodology across the organization.
• Managing the Global Business Process Managers within the Centre of Excellence.

SEAL InfoTech Middle East is a leading Business Solutions provider in the Middle East Region since 1995 addressing Small Companies to Large Enterprise-wide business and technology needs, the company started and focused mainly on SAP Business solutions. SEAL provides a comprehensive array of critical ERP-related services. My role was to manage the implementation of SAP projects in the Middle East and Africa. Some of the projects involved:
• Food & Fine Pastries Mfg. Co., Jeddah KSA, April 2006 - August 2006
• Directed FFP’s Business Process Re-Engineering/Optimization project
• The Objective of the project was to Enhance Business Value through SAP, existing process of all the modules were to be reviewed, and re-engineer/optimization and implementation of FFP group production planning/MRP processes
• Conducted an AS-IS study of all the processes in the organization
• Performed an organizational and functional GAP analysis, and performed a TO-BE process study
• Implemented an enhanced Production Planning, and performed training on all SAP modules implemented
• Co-op Islami, Dubai UAE, July 2005 - Dec 2005
• Involved in Program Management of the SAP 4.7 implementation at Co-op Islami
• Ensured that SAP is implemented in an effective way to ensure quality realization of SAP 4.7 Enterprise, covering all the business processes and requirements of Co-op Islami
• Key areas of responsibility were Project Management, Quality Assurance, Change Management, and SAP Competency Development

Al-Futtaim Group was established in the 1930s, operating essentially as a trading enterprise. Trading franchises include; Toyota, Honda, National Panasonic, Sanyo, Toshiba, ACE Hardware, IKEA and a number of other prestigious brand names. Today, the Al-Futtaim Group of Companies is one of the largest and most successful privately owned business houses in the lower Gulf region with about 109 companies in its fold and with a workforce numbering upward of eight thousand from over twenty countries. Al Futtaim Group has been certified as a SAP Competency Centre. My responsibilities were providing the Systems, Technologies & Services Division with Development and enhancement of systems. SAP R/3 Experience
• Developed, tested, and validated solutions for SAP using ABAP/4.0 coding for developing new objects, Classical Reporting (ALV), User enhancements, SAP Scripts, BDC, Dialog Programming, User Exits, Custom Objects such as Z-Tables, match codes etc and Special tools like Menu Painter and Screen Painter

• Business process study and Finalization of Business blue print
• Analyzed the As-Is Process with a focus on back-end CRM processes and designed To-Be Processes based on business requirements
• Managed the configuration of Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) for SAP CRM, which included the definition of organization model and defining and configuring CIC framework

Carrier has been the world leader in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems. A wholly-owned subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, with approximately 45, 000 employees in 172 countries. My role in the company was to develop software systems for its refrigeration units using the software engineering life cycle. In addition; contributed in improving the container group Software Life Cycle process to aid the team in becoming more efficient and cost effective.

 Analyze & design the embedded software requirements for a container refrigeration controller unit
 System design of the embedded software for the controller unit using object oriented analysis/design technology with UML notation

Bausch & Lomb is the eye health company dedicated to Bringing Visionary Ideas to Eye Health. It is a multi-billion dollar corporation with approximately 13, 000 employees worldwide, and with products available in more than 100 countries. My role responsibility was to:
• Performed formal walkthroughs and Fagan Inspection of Functional Requirements, Performance Requirements, Design Requirements, Interface Requirements, Attribute Requirements and Design Documentation to assure compliance to applicable regulations and standards
• Assured that Operational Qualification/Performance Qualification activities, including validation protocols, test designs, test scripts and validation final reports are developed in compliance to Bausch & Lomb Global Vision Care policies
• Wrote scripts to test software products in compliance to elements of the Software Developments Life Cycle

ER Labs is a US based aircraft research company. It involves in aircraft systems research and development. My role was to:
• Design the electrical system for a flight data collection/interactive playback system (CADS) to be used in facilitating flight-training standards
• Implement and test of hardware and software components for the CADS system in a multidisciplinary environment
• System installation design and system installation test in bed aircraft.
• Deployment of Airport Management Systems and associated integration (RMS, UFIS, SITA).
