Engineer in charge of the planning and daily drilling operations KDC 47 for KOC in Kuwait with 23 drilling rigs operating in North Kuwait field. Drilling through losses zone and high pressure Gotnia (20ppg ) and hard & abrasive Najmah/Marrat formation (utilizing motor, RSS and PDC bit).
Participating in the evaluation and preparation of drilling input for the P&A 14 well at Dana & D30, Danau, D41… for the SK305 development oilfield in Malaysia
Authored preliminary well design for well cost exploration and development budgets drilling campaign to attending the Bidding Ceremony for Iraq’s Second Licensing Round at the Ministry of Oil Complex in Baghdad West Qurna phase II.
Acted as Night Drilling Supervisor at rig site for the 9 wells BRS-7, BRS-7bis, BRS-8, HBHJ-1, MOM-3, MOM-4 & HBRO-1 vertical exploration/appraisal and 2 deviated wells BRS-9 & BRS-10, Blocks 433a&416b, Sahara desert, onshore Algeria using three land rig (Enafor #39, ENTP #202, PVD #11). Obtained Bit record in Algeria for 2 deviated wells BRS-9 & 10. All these wells are approx. 4000 meters with numerous drilling problems such as severe mud losses, tight holes, pipe stuck, flowing shale, abrasive hard formation of Ordovician, Cambrian, high pressure over thick salt layers
