• Develop corporate regulatory strategy plans. This includes carrying out baseline / benchmark studies and developing regulatory positions.
• Carry out regulatory risk assessment and develop risk mitigation plans. This includes monitoring risks, implementing controls and reporting to management.
• Manage the Etisalat UAE Regulatory Compliance Program as described below.
• Organize and attend telecom regulatory related seminars & conferences.

• Carry out initiatives to enhance awareness among staff on relevant regulatory obligations. This includes delivering trainings, workshops and developing material such as guidelines, modules, communication updates, etc.
• Conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance within the corporate with applicable regulations.
• Conducted several technical process review projects for different telecom operators in the region including Saudi Telecom.
• Performed network assessments to assess security and capacity for multiple clients in the region.
• Conducted technical systems / applications controls reviews and process re-engineering for multiple clients in the region.
• Developed and presented proposals to several clients in the region.
• Conducted technical reviews of Radio Transmissions and Internet Operations for Etisalat, UAE.
• Prepared the awareness material for the e-Government in Bahrain.
• Conducted a Business Continuity Management review for a bank.
• Performed risk assessments and assessed the strategy & governance plans for multiple clients in the region.
• Coordinate between team members and report on team’s status to higher management.
• Participate in solving clients’ complains and troubleshoot network problems and follow it up with vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct the KPI reports for the network’s performance.
• Conduct drive tests using tools like TEMS and perform analysis on output logs to investigate and troubleshoot network problems and make recommendations by tuning the relevant parameters to improve the performance of the cellular network for both 2g and 3g.
• Performed data throughput testing for HSPA+ broadband of 21.1 Mbps and trials for the new mobile broadband of 28Mbps.
• Explain the capabilities and limitations of the Network infrastructure to other departments like Marketing & Sales and IT.
• Participate in events, visit shop outlets to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site surveys and participate in designing/upgrading the existing cellular network.
• Monitor the network’s performance by preparing KPI statistic reports and conducting drive tests.
• Participate in solving clients’ complains and troubleshoot network problems and follow it up with vendors and subcontractors.
• Participated along with the Marketing and Sales Department in the establishment of the F.U.N program, which targets the youth segment.
Program was funded by the French Embassy in Bahrain. Completed the degree with honors.
Got a scholarship from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman to do the program which I have completed with honors with Distinction.
