• Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements
• Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
• Prepare project organization and communication charts
• Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
• Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
• Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
• Reviews project activities for compliance with procedures and standards
• Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
• Manages the Project Library
• Report to the Field Engineering Services Manager and advise on the Electrical Engineering design issues
• Responsible for reviewing drawings for constructability and provide interpretation and guidance to help others with building and installation
• Help route and answer STQs from contractor
• Overviewing Contractor performance on Electrical contract
• Keeping a track on all P&ID and ISO drawings
• Keeping a track on vendors’ documentations
• Provide Electrical Engineering support to the Project Team, including;
o Construction
o Pre-Commissioning department
o QA/ QC department
o Materials and Logistics department
• Conduct site visits on a daily basis
• Work in accordance with established Field Support Services work practices
• Receives instructions from and works under the supervision of Saudi Aramco Project Engineer.
• Layout electrical plan and detail drawing for using Microstation and assist Saudi Aramco Engineer to identify design elements to comply with code after requirements.
• Write scope of work and detailed specification for the electrical, telephone and data system.
• Assists project engineer as required to provide technical support during construction/implementation phase.
• Review vendor catalogue to identify available equipment, components and system elements.
• Great knowledge about Aramco standards
• Preparing and designing electrical power Layout, cable layout, lighting layout, and grounding layout
• Preparing material take off (MTO) for lighting and grounding material
• Preparing technical bid evaluation (TBE)
• Review quotation from Vendor
• Preparing Material requisitions
All under supervision and help of an experienced Engineer and Lead Project Engineer
• Review the packages according to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards prior submission to Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAPMT).
• Communicating and visiting with vendors to submit the missing information for the incomplete packages.
• Arrange with Vendors to submit Spare Parts Data Packages (SPDP) for the required Materials.
• Preparing IAPs & PRs for different materials under supervision of approved QC Supervisor.
• Worked as Assistant to Procurement QC Supervisor in procurement QC activities.
• Make comments regarding the missing information for the submitted packages.
• Organizing and schedule meeting with vendors, SAPMT, and Al-Suwaidi.
• Assisting in preparing Disposition Reports.
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Ensure equipments upgrades and purchases comply with all the country and company Safety polices.
• Supervise the employees activities and make a weekly maintenance schedule
• Tending to any problems that occur to the machines
