Accountabilities:
Work Details during Tendering:
• Reporting to the General Manager - MEP
• Assisting the General Manager in the preparation of the tender from the beginning stage till the submission
• Attending site visits
• Detail study of the Scope of tender, drawings, schedule equipment’s, specifications, quantity take off and estimation as per the bill of quantities for tendering purposes
• Preparing questionnaire to the consultant / client in case of discrepancy in the tender documents
• Preparation of bill of Quantities in excel format for lump sum projects as per principles of international code and measurements
• Pricing of complete job from the basic details, with market rate and labor cost using excel.
• All post tender process for winning job, including value engineering & supplier negotiation
• Preparing discrepancies between tender drawings and constructional drawings, claiming variation to consultant
Work Details during Execution:
• Mobilization of man power for execution of the project
• Preparation of the detailed site quantities requirements based on the consultant’s approved drawings
• Preparation of the workshop drawings and submit to consultant for approval
• Preparation of material submittal approval
• Coordinating with the back office staff or supplier towards timely delivery of materials on site
• Supervision of duct fabrications as per SMACNA standards and its installation
