Approved as Testing and Commissioning engineer for 132/11 KV substations. Erection, Testing and Commissioning engineer for 11/0.433 KV substations from Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW), Kuwait.

• Testing and commissioning of different substation’s equipment (132 KV GIS, 11 KV switchgears, 132/11 KV 30 MVA oil filled transformers, 11/0.433 KV 250 KVA - 1600 KVA oil filled and cast resin transformers, control and relay panels, protection relays, LV AC and DC distribution boards, 132 KV and 11 KV power cables .… etc.).
• Working on modification and extension of equipment at site.
• Attending on call duty to check and clear alarms at live substations under guarantee.
• Give site technical support to customers.
• Site surveying.
• Prepare technical reports, test reports, marked up drawings, work plan and manpower planning.
• Contact the different company departments and customers; to plan and follow project works.
• Following up project correspondences and submittals, invoices and payments, taking over and acceptance certificates, final certificates, drawings, tools and spare parts, purchase orders, ….etc.
• Participated in engineers team for erection, testing and commissioning 100s of 11/0.433 KV substations all around Kuwait.
• Lead site staff of 60 workers to replace 100s of 11/0.433 KV substations all around Kuwait, scheduled replacement of old equipment and emergency replacement of flashover equipment.
• Special works:
o Testing of 11 KV paralleling switchboard and 1600 KVA cast resin transformers at farwaniya hospital expansion - dental building, Kuwait.
o Member of engineers team worked to replace 11 KV switchgear panels due to flashover at Jahra “D” 132/11 KV substation.
o Troubleshooting and modification of on load tap changer motor drive unit with MR (Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen) staff at different substations, Kuwait.
o Site technical support to customer GS E&C at Mina Al-zour water pump station, Kuwait.
o Site technical support to customer Hanwha at Umm Al-aish LPG filling plant, Kuwait.
o Erection and testing of 11 KV switchgear at Mubarakiya military camp for Ministry of Defense (MOD), Kuwait.
