Prepare operational plans for school transport projects and supervise their implementation.
Supervise and coordinates all aspects of student transportation operations, including responsibility for the day-to-day operation of school buses.
Coordinate with the fleet/R&M department regarding the availability and assignment of vehicles.
Coordinate with departments (operation - R&M - fleet) to meet deadlines and improve standards and quality of service regarding complaints of the money transfer center.
Contribute to the implementation of the management plan by developing objectives.

• Reviews and investigates serious student or bus operator problems and recommends or initiates appropriate action.
• Reviews requests for schedule and operation plan changes.
• Analyzes current and long term student transportation requirements and provides plans for meeting requirements and improving operations.
• Assists in meeting management plan by developing objectives.
• Assists operational supervisors in the handling of day-to-day problems, and acts as a resource person to supervisors on management and transportation questions.
