Handling a large portfolio of strategic projects and business transformation initiatives on a corporate level ($XXXM).
• Responsible for reconceiving the project management structure and methodologies in the Organization’s PMO. Rebuilt and updated the project management structure which resulted in 40% increased efficiency.
• Managing the implementation of key elements of the enterprise IT roadmap. Successfully delivered corporate ERP & EPM implementations with internal resources, viewership data analytics portal, and data privacy compliance projects (GDPR & CCPA).
• Analyzing and managing the educational, training and talent acquisition programs of MBC Talent and MBC Academy. Delivered large-scale customer facing products and solutions that led to enormous success of the academy in KSA.
• Overseeing the implementation of a massive expansion project for Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath in KSA.
Successfully delivered several concurrent software engineering, digital transformation, and GIS projects in an agile environment.
• Overseen development stages, anticipated sponsors' needs, and performed trade-off analysis to maximize value and to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
• Created and managed product backlogs and ensured that software releases are successfully delivered by end of sprints in line with sponsors' expectations.
• Supervised the consolidation of data from government entities via EBS and web-APIs integrations.
Performed project management and consulting for large ($1M-$15M) IT and security projects for a variety of clients in the educational and governmental sectors in the MENA region like the UAE Ministry of Interior, the UAE Ministry of Infrastructure Development, and the Lebanese American University.
• Drove the high-quality completion of the development and integration of multiple Institutional security systems. Recognized by the Ministry of Public works in UAE in 2016.
• Led cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams of developers, programmers, analysts and network specialists in UAE, KSA, Lebanon, and USA.
• Developed, documented, and managed requirements and user-stories for large IT projects. e.g. used agile management processes on a team of 7 members to roll out a security system for correctional facilities sold to a client in Belgium in 2018.
• Prepared proposals, tender documents, POCs, conducted benchmarking exercises, and analyzed P&L statements.
Designed IT solutions and led buildouts for IT assets, machinery control software, IT operations (e.g. network, SCADA buildouts, SIEM, MSSP), and hardware acquisition.
• Scoped, resourced, and set goals for security projects, e.g. defined outsource requirements, 3rd party software requirements, and in-house team member needs and tracked costs to ensure adherence to budgetary limitations.
• Monitored the execution of projects throughout the development life cycle, performed technical analysis and translated findings into actions. Brought in supplemental savings of approximately $2M for a $12M project.
• Collaborated with IoT equipment vendors and suppliers such as Omron, Schneider, Assa-Abloy, Dell, and Cornerstone security to provide optimum solutions for clients.
Provided corporate support including software development and integration, hardware upgrade, data migration, IT architecture/security, and ongoing support deliverables for well-known NGOs, retailers, and banks in Lebanon.
• Handled the development of complex websites and android apps for SMEs in Lebanon
• Enhanced Lucid Investment Bank’s and NDI's network security by upgrading their firewall and recommending and implementing a new Intrusion prevention system in 2013.
• Provided direct support for ~15 clients/mo., designing solutions for and supporting a wide variety of clients including SMEs, IT professionals, and end-users.
• Contributed in the design and managed the implementation of a GEPON network, Audiovisual, and low current systems in Kempinski Hotel, Accra.
• Provided front-end and back-end customer support.
• Installed, configured, and troubleshot network devices and microwave links.
